Total disappointment!
Horrible food and bad service.
We had to wait 30 minutes for a waiter to come bring water, then it took forever to bring fish and chips.
Fish tasted old and funny, cold slaw was soggy and absolutely disgusting, not even sure what was used for a dressing.
And then it took another 30 minutes to find somebody to bring the check. And for the quality overpriced.NEVER AGAIN!

We got beef tips, fish sandwiches and for an appetizer we got the Cod Fish bites. Everything was delicious and the fish sandwiches and Cod Fish bites were lightly battered and very good.

Older gentleman (owner?) is extremely rude. We don’t come here often, but this is the second time he has stuck out for unpleasant and dismissive behavior.
Also, they don’t offer pizzas annymore until 5 PM which was disappointing to find out after making the drive to dine there.
Terrible service today from two outdoor female bartenders could not make up for delicious food, amazing view.

I usually don't take time to review anything, but today I feel so disgusting with this place that I need to justify how my family was treated.
We came here for lunch, hoping to enjoy the waterview view. this was our first time here so we were very excited until 10 minutes later.
Right before we sat down, the manager took out the umbrella. We asked her to leave it, but she said It's getting windy so they have to remove it. We ordered our food, and waited 10 minutes later. There was zero wind and the sun was beaming at my wife, my 6-year-old daughter, and my newborn. I asked if they can put their umbrella back since there was no wind and the sun was beaming on my kids, but they simply said the manager said NO. If this was a safety matter then why didn't they remove the umbrellas from the surrounding tables? unless they don't care about the safety of other patrons. I am not saying they are racist, but they are absolutely rude and don't care about Asian customers, evidently. We feel so offended that we packed the food to go, but I still tipped the server 20%, because it wasn't her fault. I hope the manager is not the owner, because this is absolutely unprofessional and offensive.

We haven't been here in years and wasn't sure it was still there. Took a ride and stopped for lunch and glad it was still there. We tried the lobster sliders and scallop roll and lobster bisque. Food was good but wasn't blown away. Service was great, prices were moderate, but loved the atmosphere. This place was hopping, as this place was packed by the time we left. The view off the outdoor patio have harbor and lighthouse is a plus. What we didn't get is what everyone was ordering, a Mudslide. They looked awesome, that was a mistake on our part. If you have never been you have to try, worth it 👍

Illegal Business Practices — Violates Massachusetts Consumer Protection Law
This restaurant is engaging in what appears to be blatantly illegal business conduct. Their posted hours on both their front door and website clearly state they are open until 1:00 AM, yet we were turned away at 11:20 PM with no explanation whatsoever. We could see open tables, available staff, and customers still dining, yet we were flat-out refused entry.
This is not just bad customer service — it’s illegal.
Under Massachusetts General Law Chapter 93A, it is unlawful for any business to engage in unfair or deceptive acts or practices in the conduct of trade. Advertising operating hours that you do not actually honor is a clear violation of that law. When you publicly claim to be open until 1:00 AM but routinely deny service much earlier — without any signage, disclaimer, or verbal explanation — you are knowingly misleading consumers, which is expressly prohibited by state law.
Let’s be clear:
• False advertising is illegal.
• Misrepresentation of hours is a deceptive trade practice.
• Failure to disclose actual operating policies (like last seating cutoffs) violates consumer rights.
This isn’t an isolated incident either — we’ve since read numerous reviews from others who experienced the same thing, establishing a pattern of deceptive behavior. That opens this business to serious legal consequences, including:
• Civil penalties and fines
• Consumer restitution
• Public enforcement action by the Massachusetts Attorney General
• Possible license review or revocation in extreme cases
As local customers who have supported this place in the past, we are appalled by the disregard for consumer trust and legal accountability. We will be filing a formal complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s office, and we strongly encourage others who’ve experienced this to do the same.
Restaurants are allowed to set their own hours — but they are not allowed to lie about them. Period.

Meh. I'm sure my bloody Mary was from a bottled mix, and the calamari was no doubt from frozen ( and not very good). Disappointing to start. My cape cod Reuben was good, and my wife said her steak tips were very good.
There are plenty of other options in town. One and done for me.

The Sunday Day bartenders should train the Sunday evening bartenders but that's not my place. The breakfast pizza is legit.
Wedding after party and they wouldn’t let the bride and groom in: ridiculous. Real bad look guys, you want to be those people and ruin a wedding day
