My sister and I stopped by the Vine Bar after our salt cave appointment across the street. The Fall Sangria was absolutely delicious. As was the spinach and artichoke dip. The staff were very friendly and kind. 10/10 recommend!!!

I thought the staff and the ambience were great, but I became very sick the next day. I'm pretty sure the sirloin burger gave me food poisoning. It came out to me cold and I should've sent it back.

I really want to love this place but it is so poorly managed that it is hard to. Called to go a few weeks go in a Sunday, told the kitchen would close at 7:00, said we would be there be 6:30, then told chef may leave so they would try to scrape something together if we wanted food. Didn’t go. Went tonight. Small menu of tapas. Ask what happened to the larger plates. Told chef is on vacation for two weeks?? We left. I mean…This isn’t a restaurant, it’s a bar with no real chef and basic apps.. They should not advertise otherwise on their website. The excuses seem silly for a real restaurant.

This is one of, if not my favorite place on the south shore. With so few good bars and eateries on the south shore, I’ve been wanting a place that my husband and I could visit on the weekly and this is it! The service from our bartender, is top notch; the small plates are so tasty, and the wine is fabulous. I am so excited to return this weekend to see our favorite bartender and hostess, and enjoy the incredible wine and food. The Vine Bar is my happy place.

Our group of five had a great evening at Vine Bar last night. We came in fairly late - about 30 minutes before the kitchen was due to close, still the servers were really patient with us, answering our questions and offering recommendations. We were very well-cared for the whole dinner. The spinach and artichoke dip was probably the best I have ever had, and the hummus and seafood platter were also very tasty. We also shared the mid-sized cheese and charcuterie platter, and my only gripe was that the brie was much smaller than the other cheeses on the platter (I’m assuming because it was toward the end of the evening and they had run out).

If I’m back in Scituate and craving some wine and bites, I’ll definitely return to Vine Bar. The wine by the glass list was extensive and I’d like to try more!

I have to say, I was disappointed by the experience I had at Vine Bar. I came here with my mom on a Sunday early evening - it was slow inside, and pretty laid back, which wasn’t the problem. The disappointing part was that our server was nowhere to be seen 75% of our dining experience - she came promptly when we sat down, but after ordering drinks and an appetizer she disappeared. She never checked in to see how we were doing or if we needed anything - after 30 minutes of sitting with a finished appetizer, we decided to leave - luckily we were able to catch her when we to ask for the check, but we had to flag someone else down to cash out. When we were walking out we glanced towards the outdoor seating (where we saw a group of people) and our server was sitting down outside, socializing with her coworkers. Overall very disappointing experience, I would recommend sitting at the bar instead if you’re looking for attentive service.

Well...if the owner of this place reads it please reach out back! We just left your beautiful restaurant with a horrible experience. I am sure you are enjoying your sunny Sunday with the family somewhere on the beach while the kids you hired for the summer are gaining more bad reviews to the business you put your money on.

I would give the Vine Bar six stars if I could! Absolutely wonderful. We attended a wine tasting dinner and it was beyond our expectations. The seven wines we tasted were acutely paired with the food and all delicious. Service was great and they were very attentive in many aspects. Highly recommend!

Vine BarI moved to Scituate late summer of this year. Going into Vine Bar for a drink and to check out the beautiful ambiance with my friend after finishing up my move turned into becoming a regular at the establishment. Since my first visit, the food, wine cocktails, and food have been consistently outstanding with each visit. The staff and the chef go above and beyond to accommodate my multiple allergies so I can eat a high quality meal/snack safely. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about food and beverage. The beverage menu is extremely unique. I recommend the wine flights as there are sooo many wines on the menu and the Cosmos are also my favorite! The food menu is seasonal, so there is always something delicious and new to try. I have loved every food item I have had at Vine Bar. I have brought friends & family from out of town into Vine Bar and the staff always ensures that my guests and I feel welcome. Each guest I have brought in there can’t wait to return. Every visit to Vine Bar has been a fun & memorable experience.

Awesome place! We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner for my sister. I could see she was impressed and content. I felt like a guest at the table from the classic dining movie "Big Night"

Wine, beer and drink lists are huge, with great variety. The food is insanely good, huge plates of tapas, and almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free, or modified to be GF, I'm crazy happy about how much I could select, and it was all good.

Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu can be made or modified gluten free, I've never seen so many options.
