I would give the Vine Bar six stars if I could! Absolutely wonderful. We attended a wine tasting dinner and it was beyond our expectations. The seven wines we tasted were acutely paired with the food and all delicious. Service was great and they were very attentive in many aspects. Highly recommend!

Food meh...no walk up bar service - reservations/assigned seats only!...hard to get in at desirable times. Wife and I walked in one night, made straight for the bar, and hostess screeched after us that the bar seats are all assigned by the hostess only. Kind of a snooty ambiance. Feels like they're doing you a favor by allowing you in, if they so bless you...

This place is the BEST! Excellent service. Excellent food and Excellent wine! It can get crowded so make rez! Fun to try the flights. Servers are super knowledgeable. Love that' this little gem has a bit of everything to try. Tables can be quite close so be prepared for that. I'd say that's the only somewhat negative here Otherwise every item we tried has been great and it's a fun night out!

Since my first visit, the food, wine cocktails, and food have been consistently outstanding with each visit. The staff and the chef go above and beyond to accommodate my multiple allergies so I can eat a high quality meal/snack safely. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about food and beverage. The beverage menu is extremely unique. I recommend the wine flights as there are sooo many wines on the menu and the Cosmos are also my favorite! The food menu is seasonal, so there is always something delicious and new to try. I have loved every food item I have had at Vine Bar. I have brought friends & family from out of town into Vine Bar and the staff always ensures that my guests and I feel welcome. Each guest I have brought in there can’t wait to return. Every visit to Vine Bar has been a fun & memorable experience.

Been coming here for a few months and when I saw the layout of the restaurant I was intrigued, feeling a bit like I was at a European specialty. The staff was friendly and happy to help me choose a wine that was both new to me and similar to the reds that I enjoy in the colder months. Since I have now been in a few times, I am delighted to see the new additions to the menu, both for food and wine. I'll be back again and again. Great place!

I've been treating myself to dinner out once a week around Scituate and trying different restaurants. Vine Bar is one that I won't go back to. I got a nice table by the front window and ordered a drink. After I got my drink, I didn't see my water for a long time. The restaurant was busy so I was trying be patient. I finally asked the hostess to let my waiter know I was ready to order. She came back with her electronic pad and took my order for Mac and Cheese. I waited and waited and waited. Someone came over to check on me, and I said that I was getting ready to leave. He went to check on my food order, and voila, it came out about 5 minutes later. A few people came over to apologize - the bartender, the manager (maybe), the server. Apparently my ticket got lost. The food was good, but I kept waiting for someone to offer me a free drink maybe or a free dessert, but nope. After I was finished eating, I waited for someone to bring me my check, and I decided to start putting on my coat, hat, and gloves hoping that someone would notice I was ready. I finally asked the same hostess for my check. Paid, left, and walked home.
Awesome place! We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner for my sister. I could see she was impressed and content. I felt like a guest at the table from the classic dining movie "Big Night"

Recently hosted a pre-wedding dinner celebration at Vine Bar. Shannon and Michael, to name just a few, were amazing and graciously tended to every detail! We had flights from Greece, Italy, France, Spain & Portugal and a multi course feast tailored family style for warmth and celebration!!! My daughter and her bride to be were touched by the genuine happiness expressed by the whole team at Vine Bar. It was perfect, and delicious.

Wine, beer and drink lists are huge, with great variety. The food is insanely good, huge plates of tapas, and almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free, or modified to be GF, I'm crazy happy about how much I could select, and it was all good.Dietary restrictions: Almost the entire menu can be made or modified gluten free, I've never seen so many options.

Sat at the bar and Mike was wonderful - gave us the "Reader's Digest" version of their very extensive wine list and tastings so we knew exactly what we wanted - fabulous! The charcuterie was amazing and the tuna crudo was simply devine. Do yourself a favor and get there!
