Delicious ice cream on generous portions. Prepare for long or slow lines, like on a recent October day when the weather blessed us with a sunny Saturday in the low 70s. Those lines were short but moved so slowly, probably there were lots of families with many orders per group, and I don't know, maybe everyone was getting frappes? There's a few picnic tables you can sit at and the farm is right there. Charming, yummy, and fresh. Cherri ridge ripple has luscious cherry halves. Their hot fudge is delicious. And they do an excellent Maple walnut, with a nicely balanced sweetness that doesn't overwhelm the flavor.

Nice and friendly place, their Orange-Pinaapple ice cream is on the next level. Also, in budget compare to big franchise.

I usually enjoy going to this Farm however my experience tonight was a little bit different. I went this evening to drop off two milk bottles that I had rinsed out before dropping them off. The young skinny Caucasian girl at the counter would not take the bottle back and stated that the bottles must be sterilized before I bring them back. So it made me question, after I rinse the bottle doesn't the farm sterilize it when they put new milk in it?? Either way I didn't feel like arguing with her and therefore did not get the bottle return towards my new purchase. I threw the heavy bottle away in the trash. I turned away before she could continue the argument that was unnecessary.

Since the business had the chance to reply to complaints and did not, I am posting here. Delivery trucks drive recklessly through neighborhoods. One through Holliston on Thursdays that goes flying by every single time racing to its next stop. Completely reckless and unacceptable. Going to kill someone doing 35+MPH in a neighborhood around blind turns in commercial truck. (Radar to back up claim)

Hours inconvenient
Went to get half and half for work. None. Got a quart of milk instead. Good milk but it went bad pretty quickly. $3 deposit is fair but have tried 3x to return the damn bottle and there's never anyone there - including during their stated business hours. Tired of luggng a heavy bottle around. Recycling it, and won't be shopping here again.

I didn't know how many stars to give it. They were out of my two favorite flavors. I had to settle for Mississippi mud and pistachio... neither one is my Premier Choice. But the size of the portions can't be criticized they give you way more than your ever expected to eat....

This place is awesome! It's in a nice pastoral setting (sometimes with cows and goats, if they are out), delicious ice cream, and other good dairy products.

Swung by Crescent’s original farm location this past weekend. We arrived just as they opened (around noon), and there weren’t a lot of people. With a huge parking lot and a few picnic tables, it was the perfect setup to soak up the weekend vibes. We got the classic Banana Split and a Banana Bucket, but most importantly, a pup cup for our dog.
The Banana Split came in huge portions, and it started melting before I could even make a dent. On the other hand, the Banana Bucket, conveniently served in a cup, held its own for a lot longer—definitely the smarter choice on a warm day. Unfortunately, they were running low on some of their most popular flavors during our visit, so we only got to try about half of what we had our eyes on. That said, the flavors we did try were delicious, with Cotton Candy and Graham Central Station being my personal favorites.
The pup cup was an unexpected hit with my notoriously picky dog. At first, he wasn’t too sure, but once the ice cream melted to that perfect, slurpable consistency, he was all in.
Western Mass is practically a playground for dairy bars and ice cream shops, where the real competition isn’t about texture—because let’s face it, they all nail that perfectly creamy soft-serve—but rather who can scoop up the most creative and fun flavors. At the end of the day, ice cream is ice cream, so I won’t wax poetic about the texture (though it’s spot-on, as expected). While I probably wouldn’t make a special trip just to grab a cone, I’d definitely pop by their Boston outpost to taste the flavors I missed.
