The Frog is the best dinning experience, the food is delicious. We eat there every time we head back to the Bershires.

I when in to order take out with my service dog and was turned away. The only service dogs they allowed are for the blind . Totally ignorant the 2 cackling hens at the door . Got the attention or the heavy set male in the bar area . I was told that my service dog and I couldn’t come in because they only allowed the blind to come in. I have traumatic brain injury and seizure. He told me that that made my dog a companion dog. Sooo wrong . I have reported them and asked for the restaurant to be closed and fined till they are correctly educated. I left extremely upset. How dare anyone treat a disabled person this way . My service dog is extremely well trained and extremely well behaved. I ended up having a medical issue due to the heartless way I was treated.

The service here is wonderful and the menu really varied. The food is excellent. I would only suggest to the chef that everything, the pasta especially, needs more salt. The pasta seemed like it was cooked in unsalted water. I hope I can get back there again!

We were encouraged to try The Frog late last year and it’s been our go to place since then. Worth the 30 min drive. A step back in time, decor wise, but sooo comfortable and clean. Fabulous hostess! Unbelievable large eclectic menu reasonably priced, with interesting specials. Waitstaff who really know customer service and make you feel welcome and appreciated for dining there. You aren’t rushed right out the door. Terrific bus person. Usually busy, but meals are always prompt. Wonderful desserts and affordable drinks. If you haven’t been, give it a try. I’d suggest reservations.
Wonderful food drink and service! I had a spicy Bloody Mary and a burger perfectly cooked med rare.

Surprising good! Everything was made with care and deliciousness. Their fryer is GREAT, from the brussel sprouts to good 'ol french fries potatoes - perfect. Good burgers, nice salads.Simple bar food for the most part, with an excellent execution.Service was great, we came in with a large party with only one person on floor staff (hostess, bartender, waitress, busser), she was communicative, efficient, and pleasant.I'd happily go back. Strong recommendation if you're in the area.

Amazing Find near Great Barrington.During our trip back from Albany, NY to NYC, we decided to take a detour and stumbled upon The Frog restaurant in Great Barrington. What a gem! We tried the chef's special, Beef Short Ribs served on parmesan truffle potato croquettes and garlic spinach, and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was top-notch. We also ordered the burger, which was cooked perfectly and incredibly tasty. The restaurant has a fantastic ambience, with a good selection of beers to complement the meal. The service was absolutely great, attentive and friendly. The only slight disappointment was the chocolate cake, which was a bit dry. However, everything else was top class. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return to try different items on the menu. Highly recommend The Frog for a memorable dining experience!

Not made to feel very welcome upon entry. Wait staff was abrupt and curt. Not very friendly. Seemed to be in a rush. Towards the end of the meal a little more friendly. The food was good. Dessert was excellent.
