This is a gem in the northern hills of MA. At the end of a lovely, climbing and winding road. Tables are mostly family style seating, food excellent, friendly and efficient waitstaff, fresh maple syrup divine and quintessential New England experience at sugaring time.

Davenport’s is my favorite place for breakfast in the whole world. The food is fantastic, the setting is gorgeous, the family who runs is is lovely and you’ll want to take home some syrup and smoke cream,
Unbelievable. Can’t even recommend what to get as it all was so good. All I’ll say is get their maple cream to put on your pancakes. Also, if you have a wait, try and find the friendly barn cat that hangs around and give it some pets.
