Shelburne Falls Pub and brew at the sweetheart

The food is good. The bartenders are good. Definitely a home town pub. So things get chatty. So service can be a little slow. Nice looking place. In the warmer months. The outside dining is good with a nice view of the hills and part of the town.

The view of Shelburne Falls and the countryside was amazing from even the parking lot at this restaurant. There is seating outside. We were thankful they were open for lunch on a weekday. A lot of restaurants in this area don’t open until four or 5 PM. We picked this place because the view is incredible. Well, our lunches did not disappoint. I got the barbecued ribs with a choice of several different sides. My husband had an excellent Reuben sandwich. A lot of places don’t put much thought into their side of french fries. It’s just a filler. There’s had the skin on and were well seasoned and crispy. There’s a good size beer menu and some specialty cocktails that were also delicious. This will definitely be one of our stops again when we visit the Berkshires.

They were short staff at the time. The food was good but an hour wait for a hamburger. The views are beautiful.

Parking: Parking on the side of the restaurant. You have to look for a sugn it's before high sign if place. It is down in Bach. Great scenery.

Don't order the burger. It was one of those frozen, thin, bulk purchase ones. Not good at all. Asked three times for ketchup - even got up at one point to try and get some.

Sat down anticipating apps, dinner, couple of beers. Based upon the fried calamari appetizer, the fry oil had gone rancid. Ordered no other food, finished beer, paid and left. Be warned. Not good.

We wanted to sit outside but the tables looked dirty and some had chairs some didn't. Inside the tables we're not much better. Our food was good but the server never checked on us. We've been there before and liked it but this time it was a let down.
