Went tonight to C & L. Quite disappointing and we won't be back.
Steep prices for what we had. Had to send my chowder back due to it being cold.
Then, sent hot dog back for same reason.
Certainly aware of rising food prices but
their prices are ridiculous.
Also, I've never understood how restaurant gets away with not having a bathroom for it's patrons.
With the A.D.A. I always thought restaurants needed to have bathroom available for their customers.

I went there to get a ice cream. I ask for a large chocolate and vanilla soft serve ice cone. The price was very high @ 8.03. When i received maybe a medium sized ice cream cone. I ask the person behind the count if this was a large. He responded with ya is there a problem. I said it looks very small for a large. He said oh well. Not what I was expecting for a response. I would never go back.

I have been coming here a long time. Since I was a kid and now I bring my kid and family. I review a lot of restaurants. I completely understand that food prices have gone up. No problem paying higher when the quality matches. I've been in twice in the last few weeks with similar experiences. Unfortunately, there won't be a third. The $5 Raspberry Lime Rickys tasted like straight soda water. Other places that you pay $10 or more dollars for a fish sandwich, it is usually freshly breaded with ends coming out of the role. There fish is a pre-made McSquare. The fries ranged in price from around $5 for a small, and close to $10 for a large. My guest and I each got a fish sandwich, split a medium French fry with two Raspberry Lime Rickys. The fries were good. The overall bill was over $45. If the juice was worth the squeeze, I wouldn't complain. They don't use trays anymore. Everything gets packed in paper. It makes it difficult to bring your order out to your table and grab condiments. It use to be a one person job. Lastly the outside could have been cleaner. We moved outside because of the flies inside only to contend with all the bees outside. Hard to control, but not a safe place if you are allergic. We didn't notice trash under tables. The sad part, it looked like they had plenty of people working. I think they lost a customer. It has also been an issue over the years that they do not have a public restroom. They offer no sympathy when you ask either. In today's day and age for a restaurant not to have a restroom is absurd.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not very easy if you have to park in the back lot. I don't recommend this restaurant for wheelchairs.

C and L Frosty offers a delightful array of classic ice cream treats and refreshing drinks, perfect for a summer outing. The friendly service and nostalgic atmosphere make it a charming local gem.

Food is decent, prices are ok, but service isn’t very friendly and there are no restrooms despite serving food, so beware if you have young kids.

A classic, local spot to get mostly fried food and ice-cream. Prices are quite shocking (15+ USD for a basic wrap), but I guess that is a sign of the times (and its location in upper/upper middle class Sherborn). What really shocks me is their disregard for the environment. Even when people are eating at the restaurant, everything is given in throw-away packaging. Why not consider at least reusable metal plates, metal straws, and silverware, as to not be so wasteful?

Been coming forever. Prices gone up a lot as has everywhere post covid.

Brought my three kids for first time and my main gripe is no bathroom. Basically “good luck not our problem”.

Great place to go for fried fish, like you'd get near the ocean

Nickle and dime you on everything. 99 cents for tap water, almost 5 bucks for chocolate milk. 10 bucks for a "homemade burger" thin piece of meat. 11 bucks for tuna.

Definitely a little pricier than when I was a kid, as all things are, but the burgers and ice cream are still fantastic!
