Dinner was so dark in the bar dining area we could barely read the menu or eat our food. They tacked on some stupid kitchen tax/fee. The food was so-so, the service was ok, the pricing was high. U can do much better elsewhere.
Always very good but overpriced for the 'burbs despite the gourmet Boston pedigree.

This is for the restaurant, which is great. Food is always good but service is almost always slow and has some mistakes.

I had my baby shower at the Heritage and it was phenomenal. The owner was extremely communicative and made sure everything was perfect before the day. The staff were all very helpful and nice as well! We had a group of 30 for a brunch. Food was great, vibe was great! Overall would definitely do an event with them again!

Lovely suberbian restaurant. Very new englandish.
Went there for lunch and was served pink chicken. When I brought it to our waitress’s attention, she told me that the kitchen would prepare a fresh piece of chicken. What I received was over cooked, dry chicken that I couldn’t consume. No manager ever came over to apologize for giving me under cooked chicken. Awful service and food. Eat at your own risk.

We hosted our baby shower in the Heritage main room, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was OUTSTANDING, service was so attentive and kind, and working with Jen to plan all the details was a dream. Could not recommended hosting an event at Heritage more; it will be our go-to spot for years to come.

We hosted a client holiday party in the main dining room with a guitarist playing holiday music in the background. A truly wonderful evening, people really enjoyed it, the setting was very beautiful with the fireplace, nice chairs and wonderful decorations spread on the mantle and windows. We had about 36 people and it provided ample space to mingle and enjoy.

A very nice place that feels like you could be back ìn the 18th century. Very traditional. We had a nice brunch there. There's a patio and more outdoor seating for warmer weather.
I emailed the restaurant because I hate leaving negative reviews, but I don't think they monitor the email accounts. What I love about Heritage of Sherborn: The dining area looks like a Hallmark movie set. It's cozy and beautiful and the barseats have backs! It's great spot to grab a drink BEFORE heading somewhere else to eat.My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary on Nov. 17 at Heritage of Sherborn. We chose this restaurant because I've eaten there twice before with girlfriends and loved the ambiance. I always ordered a salad — the Cobb salad is great and comes with this jammy hard boiled egg- just make sure you tell them "light on lettuce," or you get a bowl of lettuce with a little shake of toppings. On Nov. 17 I strayed from my salad and ordered the monkfish picata, which was swimming in a sea of butter and salt. Don't get me started on the presentation. My food looked like it had fallen from the ceiling onto a plate. I took two bites and wrapped it up. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WRAPPED IT UP. I knew it was going right in the trash. My husband ordered the cut of the day --- he made a point of telling the server that he didn't want any sauces or seasonings. The cut of the meat that came out was drenched in sauces and seasonings — not to mention it was a terrible cut. He asked if he could have a hamburger instead. The hamburger was dry and came with a pile of soggy fries that I am 99.9% sure were heated in a microwave. It was just such a disappointing experience- especially on our anniversary. We left the restaurant and went to CVS for Tums. We both felt so sick and crampy.I don't know if the restaurant was having an off night or this is ongoing problem.

Adorable area with a cozy atmosphere. We hosted an event at this space and were very pleased. The event manager was amazing, and we did not have to worry about a thing. The fireplace added a great touch as it was a chilly evening.

Last week the hospital I work at hosted my retirement party at the Punchbowl at the Hilton Garden Hotel in Brookline, Mass. My family and I were overwhelmed by the event, not least by the magnificent setting, the staff and the detail work by Jen Ziskin, owner and manager of the dining facilities and function rooms. The staff could not have been more pleasant, professional and discrete. The setting was breathtaking, particularly the view from the terrace as the sun set over Boston. The food was at the very high standard we always expect from Jen at her restaurants. It was truly an evening to remember.Food & drinks: The food exceeds expectations

The place is charming, a lovely destination spot. We’ve found the staff friendly and helpful. The food is fresh, high quality ingredients, delicious, and often with a creative signature style. Personal favorites include their soups, salads, eggplant parm, and their brunches which include the best eggs Benedict (I get a vegetarian version), awesome smashed roasted potatoes, and great coffee. We’ve enjoyed holiday meals there and relaxing brunch with friends. There are also nice outdoors tables if the weather cooperates. The smaller Provisions shop on the premises has a good collection of wines and treats, and on Saturday mornings they sell the popular local LePetitFours croissants.
