Omi Korean Grill offers a mixed experience. The food is delicious at times, with good flavors and a solid sauce bar. The marinated rib is a standout—well-seasoned, flavorful, and a good portion size. However, the meat options are mostly not marinated and can be fairly bland. Some cuts are a bit fatty. The side dishes are solid overall with good variety, but the sauce selection lacks traditional Korean barbecue staples like hoisin or oyster sauce.

The service is inconsistent. Sometimes the wait staff is wonderful, other times there are long waits for grill changes, new orders, and drinks. One woman has a terrible attitude and sometimes throws the meat tray around. Getting attention to checkout can be impossible, forcing customers to go to the front counter.

The restaurant is expensive compared to other KBBQ locations. Dinner runs about $40 per person, plus an added service fee. For a place where customers do most of the cooking, it is not worth the cost. However, they also offer hot pot, which is a better option. The lunch special for all you can eat hot pot is around $20-$23 per person, with decent meat portions and unlimited sides like spicy fish cake and kimchi. Ice cream cups are a refreshing treat at the end. The space is beautifully set up and spacious, but the kitchen closes at 9 PM even though reservations are accepted later.
