I've been there on many occasions. Whenever Im visiting my son's in Massachusetts it's a must for dinner. Excellent food, selections of Beer, and always friendly staff.
Great hospitality! From the hosts being friendly and alert as we walked in, to our perfect server Cam. Cosmo spritz was amazing!
As usual food was delicious. Service was ok not as good as it has been. The noise was very loud unfortunately. Still a good place to go
If your gluten free this place is it!! I’m talking best food I’ve had in a long time! The staff was amazing and super personable. The atmosphere was great not too loud but definitely busy. Even so we got our food within a decent time and everything was fresh and hot. Did i mention there were so many gluten free options!! Ive been here before and will definitely keep returning!
If you have a neurodivergent child, this is not the place for you. We went to dinner there tonight with our three children, one of whom is autistic. We went at 5pm & it was not busy at all. There were hardly any other customers near us. To an outside observer, my son would appear neurotypical. He became dysregulated while we were waiting for our food due to some anxiety regarding attending camp and was verbally arguing with us about not going. He can become loud & physically aggressive at times but compared to his full-blown autistic meltdowns, what was happening was relatively mild. His voice was intermittently raised and he was slapping at his dad. We were handling it as best we could without further escalating the situation. We were approached by a manager who told us he had received “numerous complaints about how loud it was” at our table & was there anything he could do to help. I was shocked. I explained that our son is autistic & that we were doing the best we could to manage the situation. Our food arrived shortly thereafter but we packed it up to leave as not to stay where we weren’t welcome. To the people who complained, maybe give a little grace to those around you. My son has a hidden disability & I’m sorry that him existing in the world is unpalatable to you.
Our server, Aleena, was so nice! Food was great, I never come here without getting the fried pickle chips (and they never disappoint!). Very allergen friendly and I appreciate how many GF options there are! Drinks are on a pricier side... It was also very busy for a Wednesday night.
Service was great, food was delicious. Had never been for brunch before and will definitely go back!
Server was attentive. Good selection on menu for those with allergies. Sat next to a large loud party which was distracting. Sat on patio part and it was warm as we were not near the open windows. Food was good. Decent place.
Reserved regular seating but only had highback available when we arrived at reservation time. Appeared busy but had many open tables. Could have been short staffed. Had to flag down server a few times to ask for items as she didn't check in on table often.
We had a reservation for 6 people at 1115 on Father's Day. We arrived at 11 and it was very busy. I asked for a table on the porch but none were available. When we were finally seated, we were brought to a booth. There were 6 of us and one of the party was a large person, I asked if we could have a table instead. They said none were available. I said can you put 2 together, they said no we are to busy. I said can we have a high top, they said no those are only for 8 people. They put a chair at the end of the table. I get that it was busy. However, there's were two tables for 4 people that were unattended the entire time we were at the restaurant. In addition there was a round table for 6 that they seated a party of 4 at. So they accommodated some but not all. I was willing to let go of the fact we waited one hour for food as it was very busy but to not accommodate someone seating to make them more comfortable is just rude.

Was a bit louder than expected. We had a soda spill and asked for a wet rag but was given napkins. We put down napkins where stickiness was that was the only real downside. Food was delicious and services was good.
Yesterday's dinner was a HUGE disappointment! This was a belated birthday celebration for me with friends! The server welcomed us and took our order. Drinks and appetizers were great! Our entrees soon followed! My friend's Burger was quite rare and she asked for medium. We waited patiently for the burger to make its return, however, it did not Our friend opted to cancel the order as the rest of us we're patiently waiting to eat together. Our server was apologetic and offered a free dessert. Sadly, customer service was poor as my expectations were always high at Tavern in the Square! Lesson learned!!
Awesome food and great gluten-free menu. Very careful with my allergies. Great atmosphere. And a great place to bring kids.
Waitstaff very nice and accommodating for our late arrivals. Very busy graduation day. Lovely meal.
Very nice meal with good service. Loud and busy day but to be expected. The candles were a nice Mother's Day treat.
