Unbelievably i ordered the $52 bone in ribeye...my anniversary...it came out WELL DONE while ordered MR. Sent back, truly saw worthy inedible. ...my husband had to eat his dinner (wonderful swordfish) but took 20 minutes for my $52 bone in ribeye to come back...a solid brown medium. Terrible! Owner saw it. Said "part of it is pink"...whaaaat????? Offered a "dessert"....really???? Never going back. So disappointed. Hard to believe i wasted my anniversary and money here. Too bad. Great ambiiance. Shoeleather. Do NOT get a steak here!

Anniversary! I was super hyped to get the $52 bone in ribeye...medium rare....only to get well done....hate to send back but gross. 20 minutes later...after my husband ate his delicious Nantucket Swordfish....my replacement came....solid medium to medium well. Owner came by...said "well there are some pink spots"...offered a dessert as a replacement...really??? A $52 dollar steak....shoe leather. Didnt take off bill. I couldn't eat it. Yeah. No. Not coming back. Huge disappointment.

The food was very flavorful. Delicious appetizers - Best steamed mussels!! The mixed seafood grill was overcooked and the pieces were small. It did not need a rich sauce over the already creamy risotto. Too much gravy on the steak tips. Best waiter ever!!!

Amazing from the moment we arrived- A very friendly valet greeted us, helped mom out of the car and walked her to the door. Our server for the evening was incredibly warm and friendly (I feel horrible for not remembering her name). We were there celebrating my nieces 18th birthday and there was a card on the table for her with confetti sprinkled around it! So thoughtful!!

Dinner? Just awesome. The coconut crunchy shrimp appetizer was so delicious. The dinners were absolutely amazing - Mixed Seafood Grill, everything was perfectly cooked, tasty and the risotto was very flavorful; the Swordfish Nantucket was out of this world and spoiled me in so much as I am not sure I will ever be able to eat swordfish again and not be disappointed. The birthday girl ordered the Dynamite Shrimp Tempura Maki, which arrived with a little Happy Birthday sign! Again, very thoughtful! I am not a sushi person but she was very happy and said it was fresh and delish. I will add that we are from the Cape Ann area so we know our seafood and I’m not sure how we all ended up with seafood when the name of the restaurant leans into the turf over the surf but we were all pleasantly surprised!

We did thankfully save room for dessert, after all we had a special birthday to celebrate! Both the Crème Brule and Carrot Cake were outstanding, especially the Carrot Cake which wasn’t overdone with frosting. Don’t get me wrong I do love cream cheese frosting but not when it overpowers the cake. This slice was carrot cake heaven!

Thank you to Willy’s for making my nieces 18th birthday memorable! We’ll be back…soon! I’m already thinking about the Pecan Encrusted Rack of Lamb!

It is not an inexpensive restaurant; but and this is important, you get what you pay for. Two critiques; they do not serve draft beers and had no porters available on their list and there are not enough tables and chairs in contrast to booths. Ruth Chris is an excellent comparison, but I prefer this restaurant because of the ambience. We went on a Tuesday and it was well attended.

Sunday night dinner in a rather subdued environment, conducive to quiet conversation. Food was good, cocktails/wine excellent, but what made the event special was the service. Friendly, not intrusive and thoughtful.

Overall a very good dining experience. Unfortunately, my husband's chicken dish was overdone (chicken was chewy and inedible). That situation was rectified by the dining room manager and a new dish was prepared and served. The second dish was tender chicken. My son's filet mignon was ordered cooked medium. It came medium well (thus slightly dry). The waitress rectified that situation with dessert on the house. It appears some of the chefs/cooks may not be paying attention to cook times. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is always cozy in such a small space.

Willy's never disappoints! We've been going there for over 20 years and we've never had anything but positive things to say regarding the quality of the food as well as the service. The wait staff is top notch! Our server, Carlos was great during our recent visit and Sharon is a long tenured professional. We're so fortunate to have such a high quality restaurant in our local area.

My husband and I shared the 20 Oz Ribeye Steak and it was cooked perfectly med rare and so delicious. The server was very nice and accommodating as we were splitting the Bib salad (a bit smaller then expected but nice flavors with blue cheese crumbles & pastasio nuts) and the potatoes au gratin (plenty to share & very good). Overall, we enjoyed this wonderful dinner while sipping a nice cab.

We love Willy's. Overall Willy's was excellent. The only negative experience was there were fruit flies that were very annoying throughout our meal. Hopefully Willy's will address this annoyance.

Always a great meal! Love the atmosphere, it's not too noisy but not too quiet either. Service is always fabulous! If you're craving a great steak and yummy sides, this is the place for you!

Server was brusque, rushed,impatient Steak and Swordfish both just OK... Shared baked potato and broccoli, broccoli was very good. Wedge salad excellent but WAY overdressed, could not eat some because of it. It was a birthday celebration and we were encouraged to order dessert (perhaps on the house?...No) Split chocolate cake, delicious.

Excellent as always. It has been a while since we have been to Willy's, but it never disappoints. You could go to Boston and pay 50% more, but why would you when you could go to Willy's!
