The Avenue Kitchen & Bar just HITS every time. Great food, relaxed vibe, and a true neighborhood spot.
Standouts for me are the Detroit-style mushroom rabe pizza, spicy rigatoni, and turkey chili. The Greek chopped salad and Avenue Cobb with salmon (my go-to) are always fresh and satisfying, and brunch NEVER misses — especially the bacon and brie breakfast bowl and the BENEDICTS.
The lobster roll I had for Valentine’s Day was incredible — chunky, buttery, and perfectly done. Don’t skip the skillet chocolate chip cookie with gelato.
The cocktails are killer too!
The only “problem” is everything is so good it’s hard to try new things because the list of favorites just.keeps.growing. Always happy to come back!

Ate here for the first time today and it knocked my socks off! I ordered the ham and cheese Benedict and it was the best I ever had. Perfect Hollandaise and some really tasty applewood smoked ham really elevated the perfectly poached eggs and silky sautéed spinach. And those homefries! Oh man I'd come back for those alone. And I will definitely be back!

This place always has good food and the service is excellent as well. I’ve had a few different entrees and I liked them all equally well. On my last visit I had a small pizza and it was delicious. It’s a great neighborhood restaurant for meeting up with friends.

Run, don’t walk The Avenue. We came here just before the holidays and it was slammed full but they had a table waiting for us. We had the best service. The drinks (sangria, martini and cider) were perfect. The Detroit style pizza was on point (two of us are from Michigan so we have insider knowledge on what’s good). The bowls were beyond good. Simple and flavorful. I don’t live in the area, was visiting for the holidays and I’ve been thinking about how soon is too soon so I can come back to The Avenue.

Love this place. It's my go-to spot when I'm in town. Their drinks are so good. I love their blackberry spicy marg altho I got their bourbon drink instead this time 🥹 The chicken parm is good but girl, get the chicken sandwich, the pizza, and the tequila wings!!! It be good good.

Going there was a last minute recommendation from a friend and it was phenomenal!! The atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. The servers were friendly and we got our food quickly!
