A staple of Union sq. Probably the best drip coffee in Somerville
Burrito was alright, nothing too great. Mocha was fantastic though, and outdoor seating was nice when it’s warm out - they also have plenty of indoor seating. Good working space.

Crazy busy, but a phenomenal tea collection! They have Spirit and Kilogram teas.
I got to try two, and they were both delicious!!!

The best bacon - avocado sandwich in the area
I love this place so much! There are many cafes in the area but not many make an on-point specialty coffee using intelligentsia. The GM here is awesome, baristas are skilled, staff is genuine, and there’s pretty much always a place to sit with large in and outdoor seating areas.

I was staying in the area while visiting Boston and am glad I found this gem. The coffee was good and the breakfast burrito was fresh and home-made. The cafe is a great space to work in and I loved all the local art on display.

Really beautiful space with lots of seating.
Food has lots of vegetarian options, albeit a little pricey.
Beautiful latte art! Maybe not the top espresso in town, but still quite good.

I usually have a great experience here. With friendly servers and cashiers who greet me by name. Today I ordered a vanilla latte. A scrawny, pimply girl wearing a smith college sweater noticeably grimaced at me, then when she finished making my very subpar latte, didn’t even address me. Just Handed over the latte without making eye contact or using any polite words or greetings. She acknowledged others (who were white), so this seemed like a racist encounter. The white gentleman with a kind and nice smile and dark hair, kindly served my sandwhich to me and took my coffee order. He’s always pleasant and respectful. He should replace the incompetent and prejudiced person.
The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of much deserved 0 is because this is my first time experience with such rude and racist behavior. I will not be returning, regretfully, after being a frequent customer. I have zero tolerance for disrespect and bigotry.
