I happen to be working in the area the day I stopped in for a bite. Little did I know this was going to be become my go to spot for the foreseeable future. Not only is the food awesome, the service was great and it was so clean you could eat off the floor. You can tell whoever owns it, truly loves what they do.

I can't drive past either location (Bow Market or Charles River Speedway) without treating myself to a lil Buenas ✨️ Every single empanada is delicious. I'm shocked by some of the reviews claiming they are small? Idk where yall are getting your empanadas typically but these are sized normally. I think maybe we're just so accustomed to larger portions in America? Regardless, the only reason I'm ever upset by the size is because they are delicious and gone too soon. Solution? By two! The owner is the kindest and her staff are incredibly sweet. Definitely recommend everyone support Buenas. And often!

Every time I go to Bow Market my dogs pull me to Buenas so they can get a peanut butter treat in their dough, and I can get two empanadas! I've probably done this over a dozen times now and the empanadas are always warm very tasty. Buenas beef is always a go to for me. The chicken one I had today was really good, and a special thanksgiving one they had was a great special! Thanks!!

OMG. These empanadas are truly some of the most comforting foods ever! The pastry dough is always so crispy, flakey and buttery. You can choose from a wide array of flavors, ranging from more traditional fillings to more experimental. My go to is the ham & cheese. But I love when they have the vegan Big Mac, Thanksgiving stuffing or literally any of the other unique flavors. I also love following them on Instagram and hearing about their unique pre order releases. Esp. the crab Rangoon!!!! I LOVE BUENAAAASSSSSS

Buenas serves the most delicious (and creative) emps, the service is always amazing and I literally can't NOT go there everytime I go to bow market (even just to take then to go for later). Highly recommend checking out their freezer section for to go treats 😀

Oh Buenas how I love thee! These are some of my favorite empanadas! The flavor combinations are so creative and expertly delicious. A beautiful buttery shell encompasses cheesy deliciousness in the ham and cheese, dreams and happiness in the beef, and my Personal favorite guava and cheese is a thing of absolute perfection. Give them a try and I promise you’ll fall immediately in love.

Very delicious empanadas! Makes you think of journeys back to Argentina or to dream up new travel destinations. I love their play on flavors, both traditional and fun creative ones. As a vegetarian I also very much appreciate the beyond burgers making an appearance at their shop, as well as the variety of specialty treats (green beans casserole on Thanksgiving hellooo).
