I was surprised the 2 cornmeal griddle "buns" were smaller and thinner than expected and the amount of turkey breast inside was way more, like a very stuffed small sandwich. I enjoyed the fresh arepas but there was a weird contrast between the warm "buns" and the cold turkey breast. Maybe they could heat up the fillings?

Located just inside the semi-circle of Bow Market, Carolicious Gourmet is a great spot to grab a Venezuelan snack and hang out in the courtyard with friends. They offer vegan arepas as well as more-traditional styles; the veggie arepa with chickpeas, mushrooms, and a hearty dose of sauce. Decent, but was more puck-shaped and dense as opposed to fluffy.
Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegan arepas as well as brownies & cookies when available

This food was simply mind blowing. Some of the best food I've had anywhere. Can't say enough. Had a chicken bowl and shared beef arepas. Wow. Worth a trip from anywhere.

We had delicious food from Carolicious yesterday at Aeronaut Brewing in Everett! we tried the spicy beef, and the chicken and both were so delicious! we will definetly check this place out again if we are back in the area!
