We loved the food at Celeste, as we do that of La Royal as well. The causa with tuna tartare and mixed ceviche were both excellent, as was the special, seafood soup, more like a cioppino but with a lighter broth and Peruvian flavors. (Lots of bell peppers but you could probably ask for it without them if you wish. For me they were easy to pick out.) It took a while to order but then the food came fast. The cocktails are great and we are usually too full for dessert. Best to avoid the tables by the door on a cold night due to cold air coming in. Look forward to the new place in Boston, too, from the same owners!

We had high expectations from reading all the reviews and comments, but we were quite disappointed by the food. All the dishes were under seasoned and the texture of the pasta was mushy. Drinks and service were great though.

Went to Celeste with my wife for a date night. We were only able to get a reservation at the bar. It is VERY tight, like shoulder-to-shoulder-with-strangers tight. It's ambitious placing 6 of those bar stools there. Wish we were able to get a table.
The music was weird - they were playing kids music (Baby Shark, etc???) and kept changing it. Seemed like someone didnt know how to load in the proper playlist?
Service was pretty good. Waitress made recommendations, refilled water etc.
I had higher expectations for the food given how far in advance you have to make a reservation. I now realize it's probably a function of the size of Celeste rather than the food quality. It didnt blow me away but was good and comforting. The price point is high for what it is.
Overall a good experience, but I am not dying to go back!

The seafood risotto and sirloins were so good! Also loved my tamarind mocktail. Super friendly staffs
Staff was fantastic. Food was creative and had loads of different interesting flavors. We each tried 2 cocktails, all of which were done well. The mousse desert was an unexpected highlight as well as the squid ink fettuccini with scallops in a cream sauce. Everyone from the cooks to the bartender was extremely attentive and giving a very high level of service. We can't wait to go back again soon.

The avocado and tuna appetizer were very tasty. The Carapulcra my friend ordered was amazing, my steamed fish was a bit plain but healthy and light. They also had very nice dessert.
