We'd long been excited to try this celebrated restaurant with friends. And the food was great -- until the rains came. Our reservation only had an outdoor option, which was fine, but we were surprised to find that the umbrella structure covered only half of the outdoor seating, and we were seated in the unlucky other half. Bad luck on our part, I guess, but they might have offered to move our table or move us indoors after it started to sprinkle -- there was space! Even as...
Very good food, menu offers a variety of authentic Peruvian dishes. The bar is quite good as well. Staff and atmosphere are consistently friendly. Have eaten here a number of times es over the last 4 years and have enjoyed it without exception.
We were so impressed with Celeste! The menu is very authentic for Peruvian cuisine, with homemade chicha, lomo saltado, and thick-cut ceviche with citrus broth exactly as we remember it. The restaurant is very small, so you get to watch them cook all of your food and they deliver everything very quickly and very fresh. The service staff were very attentive, but never pushy or rushing us at all. Loved every bite, every minute!
