Dumpling Garden (Somerville)

Used to be decent, but it’s gone downhill fast. The place is filthy, service is lousy, and food quality is inconsistent. Staff are rude and refused us bathroom access mid-meal, forcing a walk to a port-a-potty. The place is crawling with centipedes and roaches. We won’t be back; this place has no idea how to run a clean business.

Worst experience ever I bought two things of spring rolls and it cost me 21. 29 on Uber eats.. the fact that it's $6 on their menu in store and $9 online is completely ridiculous I feel like it's a sham and taking advantage of people who cannot go out I do not suggest this place ever when I I did receive the spring rolls they taste like cardboard dipped in water that was rancid it was completely disgusting I could not eat any of it I suggest no one to ever eat here ever again or anytime before that don't even try it it's not worth the money especially if you're doing takeout on Uber eats do not waste your money on this it is not worth it.. and the amount I did eat I just threw up just immediately I horribly violently vomited after eating a spring spring rolls and I've eaten spring rolls a lot from other restaurants and this is the first time at this place... I don't know what's in it it's disgusting violently threw up ..don't eat here don't even try it unless you want to get sick immediately after

Came at 1:30AM on a Tuesday night and received astonishingly good service for somewhere that seems like it's mostly a takeout restaurant.

My new go-to spot for late night Chinese food.

Saw these spots popping up around the GBA a couple of months ago. At first glance, I figured it was just another low-tier takeout-focused Chinese joint. But after catching one of their flyers, I decided to give it a shot.

The place seemed fairly new, and the cleanliness was definitely a step up from your average Chinese takeout spot. Their menu is a bit of a mash-up, featuring both Chinese dishes and sushi rolls, but I wasn’t quite ready to roll the dice on sushi from here. I stuck with the classics (Twice cooked pork, shumai, etc), and most things I tried were solid. Prices aren’t exactly a steal, but the portions are generous, and the staff have always been friendly.

Compared to the late-night spots in Chinatown that I used to go to, the real perk of Dumpling Garden is the hassle-free street parking. Sure, the ratings might not be high, but I would still recommend giving them a try.

the guy working was clearly super busy but he was extremely kind and sweet. answered all of our allergen questions too. the food was really tasty! everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back soon ?

This place steals food out of the community fridge nearby to supply their restaurant. The man who does it is aggressive and rude to others using the fridge, even shoving people out of his way so he can load up box after box to bring back to the restaurant. Do not eat here!

Food is best in Somerville for Chinese food and sushi .
People who work here are friendly and nice .
Fast service for take out . You can eat in but not very many seats.
They have delivery service but they don't deliver themselves grub hub or something like that.
Very good food can't say it enough.

Got the pu pu platter to try the apps. Chicken and beef teriyaki were good. Crab rangoons were passable. The rest...didn't want to finish those.

Have never been disappointed.food is always delicious
