I really wanted to like this place, but for high the prices they are charging, I'd like to order online and have my food ready on time. Every time I've ordered here, my food haven't even been started yet, even after a half hour of ordering. Not cool.

The best comfort food restaurant in the Somerville/Tufts area. I’ve been there twice now and each time the portions are amazing for the price, food is excellently seasoned, and nothing was over/under cooked. I have tried the hot wings, fried okra, jerk Mac and cheese, jerk cheese fries, French fries, and chicken tenders. All were amazing and the best side of French fries in Boston by a significant margin. We went there for a birthday and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We hope to go back many more times. Ended up rating this as my top pick on Beli.

The hot chicken sandwich with seasoned fries? So yum!! The serving size was so big, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Great front desk service too. I would definitely come back to try other menu items too.

I've ordered from here a few times and usually have a good enough experience. I don't know what was going on today, but whoever was working was either new or didn't know what they were doing.I waited 20 minutes before someone finally came to the counter and asked me what I ordered. After another 20 minutes I finally got food, but the order was wrong. I even showed up later than the expected pickup time. I then waited even longer to finally get my food.I'd understand this kind of chaos if it was busy, but I was the only person there. My experience today is really making me rethink ever coming here again.

Good food, good variety, really good portions and everything is seasoned well.You can tell they care about the food being good and it reflects in the dishes.Try the Hot Chicken Sandwich, or the Chicken & Waffles (try everything)!!!

The garlic Parmesan wings were really delicious. I tasted more lemon than Parmesan but anyway they were finger lickin' good. I was also pinching off the fried minced garlic from the foil, they were so addicting. I'm not going to ding too much for this because it was free with check-in, but the chicken taco was lacking. There was a very generous amount of chicken but I had to add more cheese, more salsa, taco seasoning and lime at home to make it enjoyable. Service was a bit slow but it was just 1 woman doing everything so I'll extend some grace. Also I really want to go back and try the plantain balls and other items on the menu.
Best fried chicken sandwich I’ve had in MA. Also the largest portion size and best value. I’ve also gotten the Hennessy BBQ wings, Chicken and Waffles, Shrimp & Grits, and fried Okra here and they were all fantastic. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly as well.

Amazing Hot Chicken Sandwich. Staff is above and beyond friendly and helpful. Chicken was perfectly cooked and moist and tender. Fries are wonderful and the gentilman working the desk actually held door open for me and helped me out with my rolling scooter from my foot in a cast shoe. Definitely give this place a try. You will regret the decision if you don't try it.

Stopped here randomly yesterday. Food was amazing and the owner is a gem.I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect. The hot sauce is delicious and the chicken was perfect.

I asked a question on the business page to see if any others experienced this, but that's apparently the wrong way to use the questions. We ordered 5 things: - jerk chicken sandwich combo - jerk chicken dip - Hennessy wings - rub wings - hot wings I would call the wings quite salty, but within reason. The spiced fries were really salty, like a bit unpleasant to eat. The jerk chicken dip was pretty salty but a good texture for a dip. The jerk chicken sandwich used the same highly shredded meat from the dip, not chunks of chicken as we'd expected. And it was crazily salty. It seems wild to me that anyone tasted that and decided it was ok. I feel it was more than accidentally adding salt twice. Maybe the only way that happens is if you don't taste the did after preparing it? Unfortunately, my wife couldn't do more than a couple bites. She said it was the same as the dip, but it was way worse. If you have a pretty heavy palate for salt, the wings will probably be fine. A little on the small side. The dip is a good value, but borderline even for salt lovers. The jerk chicken sandwich was incredibly salty.
