My family and I came to Happy Crab craving a seafood boil bags… this restaurant did not disappoint whatsoever.
Family owned and operated, delicious and quick service. We made our own seafood boil bags and had three sauces to choose from: I picked the Cajun spicy, but my daughter and husband choose garlic butter and each was delicious.
The menu offered a wide variety and is outlined in a way that is easy to read and understand. Not to mention the flavored lemonades are delicious. I got the passion fruit one and my daughter the pineapple.
We will most definitely be back soon!

Quick easy place to get your seafood boil fix. Vickie is as nice served as our waitress and bartender. Fast & efficient. More like a brick&mortar kind of place overall convenient. Easy to get to parking available on the street bus stop right in front of establishment.

we have been coming in here for six months or more each time you agreed with a friendly smile they are so loving, caring wonderful the customer service cannot be out done. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is electric, and we always have smiles on her faces when we leave Victoria and her crew are some of the best people you could meet in Somerville and I cannot recommend this place for I would suggest that everyone that’s in Somerville stop by the happy crab. ! 🦀

Vicky and the staff are amazing.. the service is top notch and the food is absolutely delicious.. the atmosphere is quiet with a nice bar and plenty of plants to look at as well as the art work lol.. I would suggest this to any seafood lovers.

Had the seafood boil. Only fair. Shrimp, lobster, and snow crab were not fresh and clearly frozen. Not terrible but not great. Excellent atmosphere and service though.
i get the seafood boil bags everytime i come and its delicious and priced well. the atmosphere is friendly and the family who runs the restaurant is lovely.
we got cajun edamame and fried softshell crab with our bags this time and it was so good!

I wanted seafood so bad and despite others reviews I decided to try and allow my own experience be the judge. The service was great I was greeted in friendly manner as soon as I entered. I ordered a mango margarita and it was really good. Before leaving i sampled the food because I wasn’t finished the large margarita, and instantly I loved the meaty lobster tails with the Cajun sauce. My son loved the shrimp poboy.
I’ll definitely return again and again!!!
I wish more people was there, but the owner and her staff made the atmosphere extremely welcoming.

When did two clusters become a pound? I know that it’s crab season but this is unacceptable. I was just in another state where the crab-legs were 2x as big and a pound for about the same price was four clusters. It’s too much competition out here for this place to be dishing out less food. I bet it was weighed with ice which isn’t fair either. Considering taking my $$ somewhere else!!!!

Love coming to happy crab with my girlfriend and just enjoying ourselves and eating great food. Prices are great comparing to other seafood boil places. Everyone should try happy crab it is soooo good!
