Best cheeseburger in Somerville. Possibly the best black bean burger in Somerville (I'm less of an expert). Great cocktails. Fun vibes. We love it here.

Highland Kitchen still has a great atmosphere — lively, welcoming, and full of character. The food is good, but to be honest, it’s not quite as great as it used to be. I was especially disappointed to see that they took the fish and chips off the menu — that used to be one of my favorites. Still, it’s a solid spot for drinks and a good meal, even if it’s lost a bit of its old magic.

One of my favorite restaurants in the state. Been coming here for years. Food is excellent and the bar makes good drinks. The curried goat stew is not to be missed as well as their margarita

Best American restaurant period. A truly hidden gem in Somerville. Great menu, food has amazing flavor. This comes from someone who generally find american restaurants as mid.

Highly hyped place, but didn’t line up to our expectations. Would try again - maybe they had an off night. Very, very loud though!
The meal was perfectly cooked, and the staff was very accommodating.
Great chicken super spicy great taste!!!

You really can’t beat Highland Kitchen. Really great food with a unique menu, doesn’t just serve your average pub fare and call it a day. One of the few places I still go out to eat that is worth the money. Doesn’t hurt they’re one of the few places remaining that has cocktails below $16. Can’t recommend it enough, so you better stop by!
Swordfish was BOMB. The chicken sandwich was perfection. Buffalo Brussel sprouts were SO GOOD. Service was amazing and I love the atmosphere.
Great food
We wanted to try a local eatery the night we arrived in Boston. Trip advisor rankings helped us pick this little unassuming place. We were able to be seated right away and our waitress was fantastic. My wife enjoyed the steak along with a strong cocktail. My son had a burger and I can't recall what I had (getting old on senile) but EVERYTHING was delicious! We also really enjoyed the crab cakes. Five stahs!
The staff here is always so friendly and the food is amazing. Love this local staple!
