I had their pepperoni pizza with the ranch and honey mustard dip and it was great! The pepperonis were nice and crispy.I also ordered the pizza online through their website and it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived to Bow Market. The staff was friendly to me as well. Highly recommend!

We've had the buffalo chicken w/ onions and the brunch pizza - both were truly delicious! The person greeting us and taking the order was friendly and helpful. And bow market usually has great vibes if you prefer eating there as opposed to taking home. Great overall eating experience.

This place is my go-to location for a cheap delivery dinner. I've been coming here once a week or more for almost a year I've never had an issue. The staff is friendly, the location is in bow market which is lovely to visit, and the food is GREAT. I recommend the spicy pickle pizza and the super beef. 10/10!

I used to be a big fan when hotbox opened. It was some of the best bar pie in the Somerville area. However the last three pizzas I ordered barely had any cheese, were undercooked, and lacking lace on the edges. I won’t be ordering again.

What happened to this place? I used to be such a huge fan of the South Shore style pizza. I told everyone about it! It was always fresh and made perfect. Now it's disgusting. I literally just got a cold pizza that I asked for extra cheese on and there was actually barely any cheese on it at all? It was clearly already made before I ordered it. I had to reheat it and it was not a long time between when I ordered and when it was delivered, and I live closeby. It should not have been cold. They also used to have awesome homemade honey mustard that's now just bright yellow Ken's. It's such a bummer. This is the third order I've tried in as many months that was not good. Did someone buy them out or something? I'm genuinely so shocked at how bad this place has become there has to be a reason...

TLDR the pizza = worse quality, higher price compared to six months ago.This used to be my favorite bar pizza by far, the crust was a perfect pan pizza crust - a pillowy thin doughiness under the cheese, lined with a buttery crunch. Now it feels/tastes like a frozen pizza crust, like a dense flat disc of dough is placed in the same pan - completely different, low quality. Actually, when I tried it at first, I thought they had given me a gluten free crust by mistake. (Possibly also a sweeter sauce now which I dislike, but I’m not 100% sure if that’s new. Just be aware it’s sweet.)I even went back the following week to be sure! That’s how surprised and sad I am, but it was more $ wasted the next time. I will stick with Bardo’s now. PLEASE let me know if you ever adjust back or if this was a flukey couple weeks for a particular reason - would love to give you my business again!The price jump would be absolutely acceptable if the pizza were the same. In Sept 2023 a roni was 13.50, now it’s 17.95. Added insult to injury to my personal experiences these last two weeks. Losing feta from the roni pie a while back was forgivable but these two issues - bad crust for way more money - are not.Edit: I just double checked to make sure I wasn’t just on a more expensive takeout ordering app, but no it’s an increase across the board. On a ridiculous note, I now see that you can just order a cheese pizza with pepperoni added for cheaper than the roni pie now. I’m going to stop investigating before I find more details that enrage me. Please get it together, guys!

Phenomenal south shore style pizza and North shore roast beef in Somerville! The crust is always crisp, and they have a great selection of classic and nontraditional toppings. Try adding pepperoni to the pickle pizza, it's wonderfully spicy!A note on the atmosphere: the restaurant is basically a takeout window, and it feels unfair to rate it. But there isn't much better than ordering a pie and taking it over to Remnant Brewing. 5 stars for that combo!Parking: There's no parking for Hot Box specifically. The restaurant is inside Bow Market, which has easy access to street parking and it's a slight walk from a municipal parking lot.
