I just love getting their food. My dad would always get us their Chicken ( Frango) when we would come to Ma to visit. He has since passed and we always make that our stop 2 years later. If you haven’t tried it then you can’t imagine how good it is. Thanks dad and thanks to JJ’s for putting your love into the food!

Hidden gem. You cannot find places like this in other parts of the country. I come from San Francisco and the line would be out the door and double the price.

You can’t fake this…it’s the real deal, authentic Portuguese home cooking that’s better than 99% of what you’d find at fancier places.

The chicken here is fabulous. Really tasty. Love the potatoes as well. Haven’t tried any of the other mains but I hope to soon! Can’t go wrong with J & J’s.

The owner is very kind and the food was great! I loved their complimentary bread, chickpeas and butter, and their steak 🥩 and cod fish were really good! The cod fish was a bit on the saltier side but if you eat it with the potatoes that come with it, it balances it out 🥔🐟. Also, the portions are really huge!

If you want some authentic Portuguese food, this is the place to go. There is a little market at the front if you're interested, but the good is the true gem here. In particular, the piri piri chicken is so delicious and exactly what it should be.

In a regular day I will recommend it but Christmas Eve on New Year's Eve no I always get raw chicken you place an order never on time they are looking to make extra cash not the quality of there famous chicken
