Great but the gummy bears on my ice cream are way too hard

It was a very attractive place and popular for its outdoor dining. Also the service and verity of flavors are amazing. Good for dates.

The ice cream itself is good but the guy is literally giving me melted ice cream. All our ice cream was melted. 7/27 @ 5pm

Great place for ice cream and hanging out in assembly row. The place is packed and takes at least 20 minutes to get served on the weekends

Great ice cream!

🍩 🐄 We always love a summertime treat from J.P. Licks, especially the one at Assembly Row! Don’t let the long line fool you! While I’m pretty classic with my final decision, I’ve never tried a flavor at J.P.’s that I didn’t like. However, a classic chocolate frappe is my all time favorite treat at any J.P. Licks!

This place is very well located. They need to do a deep cleaning, it looks dirty. The bathroom needs repair because there's a leak and it smells bad. It would be horrible if they shut the place down due to poor hygiene.

Love their ice creams though expensive!

Terrible. Just terrible. We had 2 family’s infront of us one with 3 people who got 1 and 2 scoop cups, and just a man and woman. THEY HAD 3 PEOPLE WORKING AND WE WAITED 30 MINUTES until someone even helped us. They left one girl to scoop herself then 1 guy was stocking ice cream and the other just standing at the register, WITH A LINE BEHIND US OUT THE DOOR. Then she took our order we ordered 2 EXTRA THICK milk shakes that came out like literal milk that took her 10 minutes to do and then finally someone came and punched in and made my banana split. They’re pretty expensive so you’d expect good service and good icecream but it wasn’t any of that.

Just visited tonight 5/31/25. I’ve been here a handful of times already and the ice cream is very good. BUT I have a big problem with a crew that doesn’t understand the importance of food safety and allergy awareness. One of the employees was refilling the toppings with a bonnet on. Very unprofessional. I stood in a nearly empty line and wasn’t greeted for a good 5 minutes. I asked for a medium size of my flavors. Before I could say anything else, he just pushed the ice cream over the counter w/o suggesting toppings. I said “I wanted to add toppings”. He had the nerve to say that the cup would fit my toppings and he could put them in a tiny cup in the side. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Do your job correctly, sir! I said “No I don’t want it like that.” He decided to put it in a large cup with the toppings. This young man with neck length blonde, curl hair was pretty “disconnected” to put it nicely. I ask for raspberry purĂ©e and as he starts dipping it out I stop him and notice there’s a trace of either Reese’s or some tree nut on top. I said “Wait there’s nuts mixed in there.” He seemed so oblivious! He asked if I wanted the toppings from another separate container, to which I said yes. This wasn’t to be a pain, because I wanted walnuts. BUT nut allergic reactions are not to be played with and I am sensitive to certain tree nut flavors. When he gave me the ice cream I asked if he was ServSafe Certifies. He said, “What is that? I don’t know what this.” I said “Oh, ok.” Interesting! He offered to asked his manager. I said no need, it was alright. This young man said that there’s a was a sign that shows the allergy disclaimer. I responded “What happens when you get a customer that didn’t know they were allergic to one of the toppings, or trusted that there’s no cross contamination regardless?” Y’all just hire anybody. Stay away from places that let their employees choose their dress code, have no proper customer engagement training , and most importantly: don’t understand the critical nature of food handling to avoid a quick hefty lawsuit! NO WAY I’m eating here again!!

Just a few major red flags I saw:
1. Not wearing gloves
2. Poor attitudes
3. Cross contaminating tree nuts with other toppings
4. NOT aware of basic food safety measures
5. Mishandling dairy products

I placed an order through Uber eats for me and my son we got two brownie hot fudge sundaes that we paid $12.98 for and it was literally not even a scoop of ice cream in either one of them. The entire order for two two ice creams because I wouldn't call them Sunday cuz there was no ice cream in them $32.98 I've never paid that much for a sundae I called helpline for Uber eats and they said it was past the cutoff date which I ordered on May 28th but unfortunately I was in the hospital yesterday and after speaking to my son is like yeah Mom I noticed it was no ice cream in it literally a chocolate pie with all kinds of fudge sauce so they can do anything for me to call the restaurant. All the business I provide to Uber eats and they don't even want to help me it's ridiculous but I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know that it wasn't worth $12.80 I understand you're a good ice cream shop but I was shocked when I saw the price for the brownie you had fun Sunday without the ice cream

The girl was very friendly and sweet, just like the ice cream they offered. I was struggling to decide which flavor I wanted, and she let me try the ice cream. Excellent service!
