My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Juliet for breakfast this morning! Jamie was our server, they were fantastic - super knowledgeable about allergies (highly recommend anyone with celiac disease like me or a gluten sensitivity come here, almost the entire menu can be made gluten free!!) so I felt very safe eating here, and they even surprised us with a free pastry since it was our first time at Juliet. We were taken care of so well, and the food was absolutely delicious! The ambiance is fantastic as well, really great decor and the whole space felt very clean and bright. We will definitely be back!
Have always loved this place. One of my favorite spots in Union. They're always very welcoming and I like everything I've tried on their menu. If I had any complaint at all, it'd be that I wish they had a bigger pastry selection. It's about 3 pastries to choose from total. I've tried the scone a few times and love it though. I guess most of the bad reviews are complaining about the tip which I understand, but I like that they're at least upfront about it.
I had the pleasure of having lunch at this charming neighborhood spot. The space is warm and inviting — and my server was extremely kind. I ordered the kale salad with crispy chicken which was magical!
Cozy and clean. Good service and good food.
I wish the best of luck to everyone who has decided to spend the night in the hope of having a good time and eating well. It was my second time and certainly my last. The first time was wonderful. And today we decided to go as a family and celebrate my nephew's graduation, there were 6 of us and everything, absolutely everything we ordered was not honest. When I use the word honest, it's because when you pay, you expect to get the goods you paid for. We ordered onion soup, there was no onion and no cheese, I ordered chicken Milanese, it came burnt. We ordered the hamburger, which had more onion than in the soup. Well, six meals and six disappointments. Long service, I ordered a drink and 45 minutes later it arrived.
Food was not good. I came here for brunch with my husband. We had their Chilaquiles and the French style omelette.
If you’ve had authentic chilaquiles in the past, do NOT order it here. It is very sad what they served. Two small fried corn tortillas with eggs and barely any sauce, with radish/veggies that are not traditional at all in the dish. To charge 17$ for this plate was blasphemy. Husbands omelet was okay, small portion. We also ordered their pastry Carrot walnut bread and it was bone dry!! Our server also looked annoyed to even service us, she barely came by. The 20% mandatory tip regardless of group size was not justified for the very overpriced mediocre food and almost non-existent service. It’s too bad b/c I heard good things and sadly it did not live up to the hype.
Everything was beautiful, delicious, and unique. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. Unfortunately the service was very slow.

We feel loyalty to Juliet for serving the community in the pandemic. We've come back since then from time to time for decent enough meals. Alas our dinner tonight was just awful. The Clam Shack menu drew us, but the fried clam plate we shared was the worst we've ever tasted. Crunchy hard crust, flavorless, with nearly undetectable clams and one little lemon wedge, no tartar sauce or more interesting sub. And the pasta dish: gummy pesto-like veg combo on pre-cut fettuccine as if we're kids. Okay, enough whining from me, but I'm sad Juliet isn't better. We liked the ambiance of the bar.

Came here impromptu on a Monday night & had no issue getting a table. Tried to order a cosmo but they said they didn’t have the ingredients, which I found a little odd for a pink motif restaurant (which got me in the mood for a cosmo). I got an aperol spritz instead and it was great. Menu wasn’t my vibe (very small) but I’m sure if you have a more refined palette you’ll find it interesting. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken which did not seem overly Nashville reminiscent (not red or have a heavy dry rub seasoning) or spicy, but still very good. We got bread and butter for the table ($5) and I wish it was hot, but still yummy. Also wish we got more than 2 pieces for $5, kinda crazy but ok.
Service was really really good, everyone was friendly and attentive. Definitely be aware of the service charge!! We missed this and I was doing the math this morning wondering how our bill (2 cocktails, 2 entrees, bread) was $112 (pre tip). Then I went back and read the reviews and kicked myself for tipping on top. Oh well, at least our server got a good tip.
I wouldn’t jump to go back, just not my kind of food as I like more meat options. But maybe I’m just not the demographic.

We love Juliet for a date night spot. Sometimes the vegetarian options are sparse but there’s always something. Love the ambiance and wine bar next door too

Awsone place and very good service. The eggs are especially good with their mixture of herbs and lemon zest.
My Engagement day was ruined because of Juliet.
6 months before the party, I reached out to the restaurant asking about possibly having an engagement party there. The manager - Katie (I think that was her name), responed with some info, including a minimum of $1,500 and 20% service charge. Few more emails back and forth, we were provided a menu with 3 different tiers of Brunch menu, we choose the $40 per person menu and had a proposed guest list of 25. 2 weeks before the event, I reached out because I haven't heard anything from her. I confirmed with her we are only going to have 15 people. She then ask me to finalize the drink menu.
The day of the party:
1. The party starts at 12 and our table was not ready until close to 12? We had no time to set up the space and had to hung out by the "waiting area" along with few other guests that arrived early. I lost track with the time we eventually got our table but all of our guests had arrived at that point.
2. AC was not working and it was 90 degrees that day. We got 1 tiny fan that didn't do anything.
3. No one ever refilled our water bottle, we were given water once at the beginning of the party.
4. Drinks took forever to arrived and some guests didn't get to order 2nd drink because no server.
5. Food portion was unevenly distributed. They set us on 2 separate table, one for 6 and the other for 9 but we got the same amount of food? (Family style).
6. My partner's name was misspelled on their menu.
7. No one from the restaurant greeted us or congratulated us, whatever.
Here's the real issue: Katie handed the bill to us and left. We were shocked to see a "room fee" charge is close to $700. Few issues with this:
1. My fault for not remembering the "minimum" charge from an email 6 months ago and was mentioned once and never again in our numerous email exchanges, nor was it confirmed again in the last email or mentioned once again at the party.
2. If this "minimum" is real, WHY did she make us limit the menu?? If I am only allowing guests to order mimosa and coffee drinks, how the hell do we meet the remaining $900 minimum?? The food portion is $40/pp x15= $600.
3. She then told us we had to limit the drink option because they only have 1 bartender, they couldn't possibly make drinks for our party. NOT OUR PROBLEM.
4. When we told her we went from 25 people to 15 people, she didn't think to ask how we plan to spend the minimum??
5. No one was keeping track of this "minimum" for us and was not mentioned once during the entire time. Am I supposed to be doing that as a customer??
We were forced to order more drinks and eventually missed our next reservation because of it. We even paid for another table's bill to meet the "minimum". At this point the restaurant was cleaning up and like the party, no service at all after we ordered 2 most expensive bottles of champagne. They cleared our table and we had no water glasses and were given water?? Finally?? - Katie disappeared and refused to talk to us.
AGAIN, it's not about the money but the principle. We have NO issue paying for the $1500. IF it was confirmed in the email just one more time or mentioned to us one more time, we wouldn't have limited the drink options and would have planned something like a champagne toast at the beginning. Eventually Katie showed up and settled our bill, a little too late. If she would have done that at the very beginning, she wouldn't have lost money by serving us more drinks or we wouldn't have missed our reservation.
The funny thing is that they generally don't accept tips but they charge us 20% service fee when the service wasn't even half good as usual? Not the server's fault but they are just not equipped to serve a large party. If they didn't plan for us to actually meet the "minimum", were t

The breakfast offerings tend to be a little weaker in my opinion than their lunch and dinner offerings. Cheese and honey for 15 is a bit weird. Place is beautiful if not a bit generic.
Staffing seemed light for the evening but servers were nice. Food was overly salty and missed the mark across the board.

In April, my mother hosted a lovely bridal shower for me in Juliet's private event space. The atmosphere, food, service, and overall vibe was just everything we hoped for. I even got to take some leftover goodies home and ate well for days!
