Service was great! Sadly the food was disappointing. I had the Benedict. The biscuit was dry, ham was nothing special, salad a bit wilted. I’m sad because I was hoping to find a local spot!
I finally made it to Juliet in Union Square, Somerville — and it was such a treat. The atmosphere is playful and welcoming, and the food is fresh, beautifully presented, and unlike anything else I’ve tried in the Boston area. My favorites were the salmon entrée and the gazpacho. I’ll definitely be back soon to explore more of the menu!
Food was good but lower rating because of absolutely abysmal. We were there 2 hours to have breakfast, and spent most of it waiting for our waitress to notice us, or take our order, or bring us the drinks that were waiting for us. At one point, my husband stepped outside with our infant and saw a member of the waitstaff on the phone for an hour. Probably explains why they seemed so short staffed for such a slow Monday morning.
