Have lived in the area a long time, first time visiting Le Macaron Boston at Assembly Row. Went there with a group of 5 adults and 5 young children on Monday 1/15/2024. The macarons, truffles, and other items we had were absolutely delicious! They had a wide variety of flavors, all of which were gluten-free (could not even tell the difference- they were phenomenal). The two people working today were absolutely outstanding. I really can not say enough about their hospitality, kindness, and generosity. Their kindness and welcoming attitudes were a major contribution factor to me leaving this review today, and I was just simply blown away. They went really out of their way to make today’s impromptu treat for our families top notch, and I honestly can not wait to return to try more flavors and support such a welcoming business in our community. We will be glad to return every time we are down Assembly Row, a true hidden gem.Parking: Street parking with meters, free on HolidaysKid-friendliness: Staff truly went out of their way to make my kids experience a fantastic one! The way they directly interacted with my children and our group is rare nowadays in the retail environment.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide doorways, automatic door, wide retailAnd cafe space. Cute little place, nice decor! While I was initially a little disappointed that they did not have cakes, I took their macaroons, and liked them. Took the chocolate, lemon, red velvet, and the raspberry, and loved the first two the best.

Great customer service. Popped in to try a Macaron, ordered the tiramasu flavor and the gentleman working was very helpful and nice. He gave me a free vanilla flavoured one that had a crack on the top. They were DELICIOUS! Can't wait to go back.
This location has a lot of tables inside for you to sit down and enjoy some treats. They have a great selection of macaron flavors and tarts and chocolates. The tiramisu and coconut were delightful. The shells had a thin crisp top and inside were not dry. I could taste each flavor with the pastry cream. I got other flavors, mango, red velvet, Colombian coffee, and strawberry key lime. The cashier was super helpful with letting me know the current seasonal flavors.

Exclusively ordered macarons, as I figured that would be what they're best at. The texture was too chewy across the board, and the flavors mildly gross and chalky. Not sure how they justify either their name or their high prices. It's a pity, because the service was amazing, and notably helpful and friendly.

Not bad: this Assembly Row outlet of a chain specializing in macarons, tucked away on a relatively dark, less-trafficked side street along an otherwise large, outdoor, mass-market shopping district. When I stopped by on a muggy summer day, there wasn't much left in stock, which set of alarm bells in my head in terms of freshness, so I picked from several of the more well-stocked flavors for an instant, on-the-go treat. I wasn't disappointed. Stalwarts like the pistachio were nicely flavored and, although just a tad chewy on the tough end of the spectrum (a sign of staleness, perhaps?), at least held up structurally when I bit into them. Macarons are supposed to have lightly crispy shells and soft, spongy interiors - yet are not supposed to disintegrate into crumbs upon chewing into them, which happens if there are air bubbles inside. So the offerings here at Le Macaron passed the test even when low-stocked (and, therefore, possibly stale). If they're more well-stocked, I wouldn't mind going crazy and splurging on a dozen flavors at once. Bonus: they don't just have macarons, but also gelati and other sweet treats.

I was so excited to go inside this place! There was no one else in the shop but I don't think that means it's not popular. Today, I visited at around 4 or 5 pm, and many of the macarons were already gone.We got a box of 6, but it seemed that you can get any quantity. The flavors are interesting. We went with pretty much only classics, but nine of them missed.
