Server took our drink order and apps but never came back to take main order and we still had menus on table when apps arrived. Also, didn't clear apps before giving us mains. Quality of food was excellent! Just a little disjointed on service.
The food was very good and the waiter was attentive. I did have to send the Bloody Mary drink back. I'm not sure why it tasted like citrus and watered down tomato juice. We would go back again.
Overall 3/5 Stars. The food was amazing! This was definitely the best part of the experience. The service was okay at best. It took 15+ min for a waiter/waitress to come and even ask if we wanted water/drinks and then another 10 to get them. Our waitress was very nice but not on point. The secondary waiter brought the entrees out to our small table for 2 that was FULL of the dirty appetizer dishes and platters. He asked us to hold our hot food plates while he cleaned the table off. Food was then delicious, worth the headache if you will. Our waitress then came back and checked on us a few times and we grabbed the check and left. Food 5/5 Overall Service 3/5 Friendliness 4/5
The food was great but the service was very slow. We made a reservation and the place was half empty upon arrival yet it took two hours start to finish. I had to ask for water twice, the waitress tried to take my cocktail before it was gone, and we got served the wrong dessert... twice! We did not appreciate the staff rolling silverware at the next table over. I'm surprised the GM allowed that but everything above helped us understand why it was dead on a Saturday night as out of towners.
OUTSTANDING FOOD. Taste and texture was nothing less than perfect. Ambience here is lively when full, but intimate when lightly attended. Seating was immediate with a reservation. We loved the bang bang cauliflower. not the typical teste you get at other spots. This far exceeds the sauces I have had elsewhere. The nachos were decent but I don't recommend it if you are looking for a hearty typical nacho dish. Blue corn nachos, minimal toppings. Main dishes. I had the sole which was cooked perfectly. flakes, thin and perfectly breaded lightly. My father enjoyed the Cioppino, said it was perfect. Mother had haddock and wife had salmon. all said the same. Was our anniversary so they brought out cakes with candles. I had a delicious Boston cream, wife had cheesecake. Parking can be challenging here when busy as it is partnof a hub of condos and stores. Some parking is paid street parking. if under 3 hours is freezing the parking garage and free in the parking lot.
Don't go on $1 oyster night, our entrees got dropped before our oysters came out and that was an hour and a half after we were seated.
Oysters were great, but the chowder was lukewarm. Love it when oysters are on sale. Wife was pleased with her fish tacos.
I love Legal's. The lobster sandwich was great. The Caesar salad was very vinegary, not appetizing at all. Otherwise, everything was enjoyable.
I ordered an app that hasn't been on the menu for a while, mussels au gratin, and the chef made it for me. Fish and chips was outstanding. Our waitress, Debbie, was friendly, helpful, and very nice.
The food here seems to have gone down hill, with the prices heading in the other direction. All 3 of us had issues with our meal. Albeit small issues, issues nonetheless. Steak tips not cooked as ordered, undercooked broccoli and a very disappointing lemon/caper butter sauce. Where were the capers and why was the sauce broken and cold!?!? Some positive notes, the swordfish and haddock were cooked perfectly. Our server was also very nice and attentive.

Love it here my server Emily was so kind and attentive
The are good, but the service was poor
Went here because it was recommended and I was sadly disappointed. The only reason I gave 2 for food is because the kids menu for my son had some great offerings (starter, veggies with main instead of usual fries). The service was fine except I would have appreciated being told what the oysters were when they were given to me. For other folks I’d save your money and go somewhere else as many things are market price so may want to spend wisely.
Lamaya (I’m sorry if I spelled it wrong) was fantastic! Very sweet and attentive server
I'm a Dallas guy, and I had just a little bit of extra time so I wanted to get some lobster at a local place that had good reviews. This was absolutely awesome.
Traveling for work I ate at the bar, and luckily Peter was there and provided some very expert guidance on oysters that were on special as well as lobster roll options.
I had high expectations based on the reviews and they were exceeded at every turn, the food was amazing, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, I highly recommend!
