Always have an amazing time here. I always get the clam chowder and wedge salad here - it's a game changer! Instead of bacon, it comes with a smoked salmon belly. I wish I had pictures to post but I was locked in LOL I ended the night with the mango lemon drop martini, which was devine.

One cannot go to Boston without indulging in the local fare. Thus, I had Maine sea scallops that were blackened. Wow! Succulent and decadent deliciousness. Top it off with au gratin broccoli and mashed sweet potatoes… This dinner was very satisfying but not excessive in portion. To finish, a raspberry-laced key lime pie, one could hardly get more Boston and delightful at one setting.

MMMMM

Prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes have dropped. Quality is just about tolerable. As a rewards member I can only redeem one offer at a time even though I have more than enough points to redeem. Feels like clickbait. All in all having been a frequent customer for the last 25 years I have to now think if I really want to return. There are better seafood options available.

Free parking available. We had a reservation and were seated in a timely fashion by a charming hostess. Our waiter Peter was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. From appetizer to dessert, the meal, accompanied by pinot gris, was delicious.

Update- 2/14/2024 NO response from Legal Seafoods.Horrible experience on Saturday. Too much to write other than....Bar Manager completely detached. Not a manager in any way based on her response. She seemed far more interested in retaliating on her bartender for exposing her for not fixing a problem since last fall.Bartender - Seemed afraid to tell her bar manager that I wanted to speak to her so I could tell her there was an issue. After speaking to the bar manager and telling her what my conversation was with her bartender (who by the way was very nice and honest) She immediately turned angry and sounded like she wanted to fire her!! Can you even imagine?Second terrible experience at a Legal Seafood Location in less than a week. I was only at this location because the Braintree GM asked me to give them another chance! When I was at that location the food I got was soaked in grease! I took pictures and the Manager was horrified and then offered to do nothing! The GM then reached out after a review exposed the manager and he apologized and sent me a gift card. Nice gesture but I would have rather a nice meal after working 12 hours that day.Imagine being invited back "Please give us another chance were his words" then, a second horrible experience in less than a week? These are NOT isolated incidents. These are Culture issues withing the restaurant. The culture is created by the managers, and I came across two horrible inexperienced managers. No other explanation. So, because of the lack of training, they have or lack of experience or what have you, The Employees follow in the footsteps, and this is the SUM of that. Here is the actual issue. The bar Tap for the Bud light or the draft system for the Bud light is broken. I was poured a draft beer that clearly was flat. When I questioned it, the bartender said yes, it's an ongoing issue, I will try the other tap. When she poured that draft beer it looked like a heavy Lemon Juice. The smell was degusting. I again brough this to her attention. She apologized and said it's been like that since Oct and that management has been told over and over, but they have not got the problem fixed. Now its February and this place is a cash cow, and they haven't fixed a Tap issue since Oct? Wow! Thats BAD, really bad management. I applaud her (bartender) for being honest but the way the manager acted to my inquiry about the tap and bad beer was that she took it personal almost like "Wait a Minute"!!!!!To that Manager- Why not put a sign on those taps - 'Sorry out of service" Rather than embarrassing your company, your bartender and YOURSELF- File under incompetence! To the GM of this location- Please look up culture. Look up bad clubhouse. Houston, you have a problem.
