Such a unique and special experience and meal. I went in without a reservation and was able to get a seat. Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious. After eating, I spent some time sipping a drink on the couch/lounge area looking at their books. An immersive cultural experience. I will be back. You can tell this place has so much love and energy behind it.

Best dish was fish and chips - definitely the best in Massachusetts; however the sauce was overly spicy and didn't go well with the fish and chips. Old bay chips and sauce was good. The fish and chips is the highlight.Deviled eggs and cheesey kugel were ok. The smoked fish appetizer was too dry and did not have enough flavor, but the everything chips were good.Limonada drink was good but lacking of mint that they mentioned it included.Service was very good and overall nice ambiance.

A compelling experience for everyone! This is the best kosher restaurant in the United States. I no longer keep kosher and work in food, and so always like to check in with kosher restaurants to see how they stack up. Generally I am disappointed and find kosher eateries to not offer compelling value at their price point. Lerhaus is different. The ambience is excellent, the service friendly and efficient, and the menu is both fairly priced and truly delicious. We had a number of shared plates, cocktails, and loved everything. The multi -use and multigenerational feel of the space is so inviting and fun. Whereas most kosher eateries are failed approximations of their non-kosher counterparts, Lerhaus offers something deliciously distinctive. More please! Can't wait to come back on my next trip through Massachusetts.

I love Lehrhaus but feel.that the wait staff is a bit too pushy in asking clients to make decisions. It makes you feel rushed and judged.

Could be my favorite place in the world. Are you bookish, social, hungry? Lehrhaus is an amazing combo of lively house of study, cocktail bar, and restaurant with contemporary creative dishes. Attend a class, eat at the rail, meet your friends in the lounge, bring your little ones for a meal. It's all there in one place and the hospitality is top-notch.

Lehrhaus has the perfect cocktails and food to complement the classy laid back vibe. Beyond being the best kosher vegetarian option in town, the food is so good that the meat eaters amongst us didn't even feel like they were missing anything!A few dishes worth noting (pictured here): veggie chopped liver, kugel Mac and cheese, and herring.

Truly unlike any other resto-bar I have ever been to. The hybridization of new age hipster chic and old world Hasidism shouldn't work, and yet somehow it does.

This place is pure magic. They had a vision, and they've executed it beyond perfection. The food, the drink, the culture - such quality and intentionality is rarely seen. It manages to have a powerful Jewish identity while still being a welcoming space for everyone looking for a unique experience.

Lehrhaus was fantastic!! I was already excited by the concept, but hadn’t realized that I wasn’t just in for some Jewish culture and study, but actually for one of the best meals I’ve had. I am gluten free, not by choice, and have a few allergies. Often I struggle to find one or two dishes I can enjoy—but here the staff and the GM were totally knowledgeable about every dish, and brought me gluten free options for everything—including house-made GF crackers and an out-of-this-world GF, and an unexpectedly memorable vegetarian Reuben sandwich I didn’t expect to like and now can’t wait to come back to have again. Add the warm and comfortable vibe, the chance to learn with Rabbi Charlie, and the great drinks (The Tree of Knowledge was delicious)—I will take friends who know nothing about anything Jewish and I know everyone will find something to love.Dietary restrictions: Great job for gluten free and allergies! Made me special GF dishes and had GF crackers and wraps to fill in bread and pita!

WOW! What an amazing place! I have been wanting to try Lehrhaus since it opened and it didn’t disappoint! All of the food and drinks were on point and delicious. My picture doesn’t do it justice. Food allergies? No problem, plenty of options. The eggplant and fritters were my favorites as was the drink, Some like it Harif. That said, all plates were clean :)Dietary restrictions: Many vegan, gluten free and vegetarian options.

This is a very special place. Every dish, every drink, every inch of the place is thoughtfully curated to capture a unique atmosphere celebrating Judaism's tradition of text study. Everything has a story and I discover new dimensions to the restaurant during each experience. It is one of my favorite restaurants!
