The owner was super friendly and I had a great chat with him while I was waiting for my food. I ordered the Japanese curry with chicken and sadly, the curry did not resemble the dark sweet and saucy curry that I was expecting. Instead the sauce was very yellow with a lot of ginger and felt more Thai than Japanese. It felt like a completely different dish since it had peppers and the chicken was hastily cut and cooked (pieces were way too big). Finally, the serving of rice they service with the curry was way too small. Great guy, okay food.

My family and I have been eating at Lotus since it opened over 15 years ago. Food is always fresh. Alan, the owner cares and is always trying to make things even better. He supervises every dish. We love the sushi best but also Pad Thai, Vegetarian Delight, Chicken and Broccoli , Peking ravioli, Miso and wonton soup and other noodle dishes. Sushi burrito is a real treat

The take out food is definitely not authentic Chinese food, it has typical flavor of Americanized Chinese food, come on, do your job. Any Chinese could cook better than this, it’s not sticky rice, but it is sticky, too much water!

Take out is quick, done in 15 min or less. The food is tasty. I got a Chinese tea called Walovi, best tea in a can I've ever had -- like a sweet tea but more flavorful for the leaves from its natural origins.
