The owner was super friendly and I had a great chat with him while I was waiting for my food. I ordered the Japanese curry with chicken and sadly, the curry did not resemble the dark sweet and saucy curry that I was expecting. Instead the sauce was very yellow with a lot of ginger and felt more Thai than Japanese. My family and I have been eating at Lotus since it opened over 15 years ago. Food is always fresh. Alan, the owner cares and is always trying to make things even better. He supervises every dish. We love the sushi best but also Pad Thai, Vegetarian Delight, Chicken and Broccoli , Peking ravioli, Miso and wonton soup and other noodle dishes. Sushi burrito is a real treat
