Dimitri was very welcoming at the front. Nice to have a fellow veteran taking care of us. Will be back to visit for sure! Made my time at Lucky better than expected!
It's a decent enough atmosphere, and the food was okay, but it definitely wouldn't be my first choice. It's one of those things where it's important to understand that stuff in the city is expensive and might be disappointing for the price. I went here because I wanted to bowl, but it would have been better off going someplace else. We had a good time, so I won't say I'd never go back, but if I do, it will probably be for the arcade. Strong marks for the guy working the front desk, though. He was friendly and super helpful.
We were having a good time until without warning the electricity on all machines just shut off during our game. We thought they lost power, but without notice or an announcement, all their machines turnoff at 11pm.
I discussed the issue with the manager, who was extremely rude. She stated, “What do you expect me to do… tap everyone on the shoulder and tell them we were shutting down.
Well, there were only 6 people in the arcade, so an announcement for 10 or 5 minutes would have been appropriate. Or even flash the lights at 5 minutes like every bar does.
Also, I asked if we could use our points to get a prize because we never come here. She said she couldn’t help us.
Extremely poor customer service, especially from the manager. Not to mention she appeared to hate her job. Won’t be going back. Attended 5/5/25.
While it is expensive, I think it was worth it compared to similar establishments. The arcade games were fantastic for an 8 yo boy and the bowling was, well, bowling. We spent about 2 and a half hours, 1 bowling and 1.5 in the arcade during school holiday. We didn’t eat though.
Great time with the family. Easy parking. Good food, tasty drinks & friendly service.
Highly recommended if you just want a fun afternoon or night out with plenty to do.
Billiards, bowling, endless games, sports bar etc.

I don’t know who is spending $300 to bowl for 2 hours but am I the only one who thinks this pricing is INSANE?
Restaurantji Recommends
$303 for two hours of bowling reserved for two people with two pairs of shoes for two hours. Anywhere else will be a fraction of this cost.
Town Line is a flat $40 an hour during peak periods and $34 an hour otherwise.
Kings in lynnfield is $27/hr per person during peak times.

It's very nice, lovely facilities and super clean. I'm a cripple and had to walk up two very long staircases to get to most stuff, there's an elevator, but I didn't see it until I asked. (On the ground floor, it's all the way past the bar on the back wall.) Very tasty, comfort food. Slightly pricey, you don't want to take kids to eat and play there all the time.
Wheelchair accessibility: I use a cane. I had to walk up two very long staircases to get to most stuff, there's an elevator, but I didn't see it until I asked. (On the ground floor, it's all the way past the bar on the back wall.) In plain sight but there's little to no signage.

The staff were pleasant, the food was good, and the facility was a lot of fun. I am giving this company a 1-star review due to customer service.
I reserved 2 lanes for 2 hours and 11 people on Saturday evening. The lane reservations were $440, which is already very expensive, but I accepted that ahead of time. That’s not the issue.
I was charged $76.89 for shoe rentals. And then, on top of that, there was a 9% reservation fee based on the subtotal (another $46.52).
Four people were unable to attend last minute due to illness. I explained this to the staff before my reservation and requested a refund/credit for the shoe rentals of those who couldn’t attend. The woman at the front desk went to speak with her manager, who declined helping, and pointed me to the sales department.
Later, I contacted sales, and they stated that nothing can be done. No refund or credit would be provided. The situation apparently had to be communicated to sales before my event, and they refuse to be flexible at all after the fact. There is absolutely no reason (other than arbitrary policy to exploit customers) to refuse crediting me for shoe rentals that were never rented.
So, I ended up paying over $30 for…nothing…in addition to the other $540, which is expensive even for Boston.
This was a very disappointing experience.
