Temporarily CLOSED as of November 2023. Signs in the windows say "pick up orders at Macchu Picchu", "hatching soon", and "renovations in progress".

Incredible rotisserie chicken. The beans are also very good and certainly worth getting.

Came here for rotisserie chicken, it was nicely cooked, very juicy.

This is not the actual restaurant, they are about 1000 ft from this corner, they need to notify people of that, the food looks good but the taste is a 4 for me

Came in here a few weeks back. Well I ordered from this location, not knowing that it had basically closed and had been absorbed by its sister Machu Pichu down the street. I always felt it weird they were so close but MC was certainly more causal. I ended up calling ahead and walking to MC before realizing they had combined.I used to come here often when I lived in Porter pre-Covid. Best sandwich in Union in my opinion but that has certainly changed. By far the biggest disappointment is moving from a French bread type roll to a bulky sandwich roll. Completely changes the taste. Not the same amount of rotisserie chicken as it used to be and most of it was dry. It’s a shame as I used to really dig this spot. The fries were rather hard too but they did provide the same dressing condiment as before. I’ll likely avoid this in the future. Please change back the bread you use!

Recently got the mixed ceviche, lomo saltado, tamal, and the chicken dinner for delivery. While they weren’t the most affordable Peruvian food option in the area, they certainly had some great dishes worth trying. The mixed ceviche and lomo saltado were our favorites, and I especially liked the refreshing aftertaste of the ceviche. Tamal was also interesting, but a bit too heavy to be an appetizer. The roasted chicken was just okay, but fortunately, the sauces made them miles better. We also wanted to try the Inca kola and their specialty corn drink, but they were unfortunately stolen by our Grubhub driver. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable dinner overall.

Delicious food, I cannot wait to go back to this restaurant when I'm in the area. They hosted a group of 25+ and were so attentive and understanding of everyone!

Yummm. I really like this place. But I will say the best Peruvian places seem to be out in Everett. That said, roast chicken here is to die for. Also tried the Jalea the other day and the squid and fish are fried INCREDIBLY well - soft and melt-in-your-mouth. Definitely get yucca fries and fried plantains if you have space. I always leave this place feeling way more full than I expect. Will aim to try more dishes next time! Bow Market and Union Square are around the corner and nice to walk around until you feel light enough to sit down again!

I got the lomo saltado, which was flavorful and filling. I feel like they could have added a bit more rice/meat for the price, but the dish overall was well seasoned and balanced.

Came from Upstate NY, found the place through the Yelp app and decided to give it a shot. Parking came be complicated, this place is surrounded by pubs and other college student restaurants. Had to park at a close by bank parking lot. We called ahead (1hour wait), waited 5 minutes to get to our tables. This a Saturday, there was live music but I am not sure it happens every night. Customer service was great, the server kept checking in with us. We order (party of 4 including a 9 year old) a couple of delicious Pisco Sour drinks. I had the Ceviche (medium spice), my wife order the chicken (more on that in a minute) and my teenage daughter order the Jalea. Both Ceviche and Jalea were excellent. The chicken was a little cold and had no flavor. It may have been left on the counter waiting for our other orders to complete the order. I usually don't order the chicken in a Peruvian restaurant unless that is their specialty, it is on the name of the restaurant so we thought it would be good. I will still give it a 4 stars because it was still way better than the restaurants in NYC we ever tried.

Loved the chicken even though it was expensive. But they are actually not open for dine in - all orders are directed to Macchu Picchu. And Macchu Picchu - maybe the mistake was sitting outside, but we were waiting at our table for 30 minutes and no one came to get our order... We were literally about to leave when someone finally came to take our order.

Because of my dietary restrictions, I don't tend to explore menus that much, so I only ever order the half chicken with plantains. But frankly I don't know if I would order anything else even if I felt up to the experiment. It's amazing every time, very filling and flavorful. I'm moving away soon and will really miss getting takeout from this place - thanks for all the delicious meals!!

Ordered dinner takeout. Chicken was amazing. Empanadas were also really great. Also had the Lomo Saltado, which was good but a little overly salty for my tastes. Packaging was great. I was a little confused about where to pickup (I ordered over phone and they did not mention pickup was at Macchu Picchu) but other than that it was a good experience. If I go again, I'll prob get a full chicken.

I have no photos because I consistently just order takeout but do not sleep on this place. I am only giving it 4 stars and not 5 because a couple times the sauce or plantains have been bland but let me tell you when it's good, IT'S FANTASTIC. I have also not been to the restaurant so I can't comment on atmosphere or service. Every time I get take out I order the rotisserie chicken and a side of plantains. The chicken is always moist and the sauces (aji) are also top notch. Like I said I've had times where my plantains were better than others but that could be a produce timing thing. I honestly mostly wish I could convince my friends to eat here more with me. I should note, I've been to Peru and had the peruvian rotisserie chicken. It is where it's at, and this meets the hype.
