I’m so happy man this is the best poke I’ve had in my life. Get the mixed plate. Their shoyu salmon is so firm but soft at the same time. Their Mac salad I can probably eat a bucket of by itself. Lovely, lovely staff and awesome selection.

I've had poke in Hawaii and, more recently, authentic Hawaiian poke in SoCal. I had high hopes for this place bc of the good reviews but was pretty let down...maybe an off day? I would be willing to try again dining in!

Tuna crispy rice - tuna was really fishy, texture was off, rice was somehow mushy and chewy

Salmon poke - both were just ok, a bit too chewy and unevenly chopped. Flavors were nothing to write home about

Fried chicken - tasted good, but a little tough since it was thinly sliced

Pork - I liked this one! Very yummy and sweet (some people might not like that)

Mac Salad - lacked flavor and salt, was surprised there was nothing else in the salad besides the mayo

Rice, salad, cucumbers - Meh. Cukes were soggy, rice was hard and cold, salad was just garnish

I flew from Washington state across the country to visit this place and let me tell you it was worth it. It's as if the chefs are my family, almost like we're related when I walk through the doors. I think a tear fell from my eye to my chest when I tasted the amazing flavors that leapt from my food to my mouth. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend when i first chomped down on the Poke but I didn't want to overshadow the experience we were all there to have. It's hard to see the shop from the street but if you're there before it opens the long lines of customers waiting to have their taste clusters massaged into a state of euphoria will be easy to spot. Safe to say I'm naming my son Manoa Poke Shop jr. the first.
P.S that BBQ Salmon put me in a trance that no drug ever could.
P.P.S Also that Jake fella gives the best hugs.

I LOVE MANOA! I had never had real Hawaiian food before getting a mixplate here and now I'm obsessed. I've never had a miss ordering from here, it's always delicious and I just wish they were open every single day! I wasn't sure about spam before I tried the spam musubi and now I'm a regular spam musubeast 😤 I've even ordered catering for my family when they visited from Europe and everyone complimented the food. Jacob is so friendly and always makes everyone feel so welcome! Mahalo Manoa!

Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful in letting us know what a vegan friend could eat: the mac salad isn't vegan but they could eat the tofu protein options, pickled cucumbers, green salad and rice

Excellent, friendly, delicious fresh food. Only downside was the New England draft interfering with our Pacific haunt when the door opened

I've had manoa maybe 20+ times over the last few years, and it was one of my favorite places in Boston. Recently the food has become incredibly inconsistent and much poorer quality. Fish is more chopped and tastes lower quality. Oka tastes different every time. Chicken is always dry and overcooked. This will be the last time I order for a while...

10/10 best Hawaiian poke spot in Boston. Spent $29 on a plate+ additional protein, and honestly I would’ve eaten more! Expensive for take out, but you’re paying for something not offered anywhere in New England, and everything is top quality.

It’s one of those few places no matter what you order you will be happy. Can’t wait to come back to try more!
