The food is criminally under seasoned. I’ve never had a blander burger or a more poorly done nachos. Nice place to sit and have beer but avoid the food.

Sitting outside at Mike's and ordering a pile of appetizers is genuinely unmatched: after a 6 mile hike, Mike's is where my roommate and I immediately craved. The onion rings with a side of ranch are 10/10, and I highly recommend the seasonal bruschetta on the garlic bread. If you're a garlic lover, look no further.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely incredible! Mike’s Food & Spirits in Davis Square is a total gem.

I came in curious and left completely blown away. Let’s start with the Frozen Espresso Martini — hands down one of the BEST cocktails I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced, rich, and refreshingly smooth. It’s the kind of drink that makes you stop mid-conversation just to say, “Wait… this is amazing.” If you're even thinking about getting one, just do it.

Then came the Chicken Skewers — and WOW. Perfectly grilled, juicy, flavorful — not a dry bite in sight. I swear, they deserve their own spotlight. I was seriously impressed. The dish comes with two sides, and I chose the mashed potatoes and rice. The rice was solid, but the mashed potatoes? An absolute standout. Creamy, buttery, velvety perfection — I’d come back for just the mashed potatoes alone. Whoever’s making them back there deserves a medal.

And I have to give a huge shout-out to my server, Kailani — she was phenomenal! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. She made the whole experience even better with her great energy and spot-on recommendations. You can tell she cares about giving people a great time. Her energy was warm and welcoming, and her service was flawless from start to finish.

The vibe at Mike’s is the perfect mix of casual and fun, with a great staff and amazing food and drinks. Whether you’re out with friends or just treating yourself, this place is a must.

I’ll 100% be back — and bringing more people with me next time. Highly, highly recommend!

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The chicken Alfredo pasta tasted like it was boiled in plain water with zero seasoning, and the shrimp fry was equally flavorless and greasy. To top it off, flies were swarming around our table the entire time we literally had to shoo them away just to take a bite. The whole place felt unhygienic and poorly managed. Definitely not worth your time or money. Overly expensive for your time, energy, and mental peace

They just really haven't discovered seasoning yet. Even their greasy bar food is under salted.

Mozzarella sticks: 8 out of 10. Naybe 9. They were very good

Pizza: 6.5 out of 10. Not a bad pizza just not the best I’ve had, solid choice if you want a pizza but I’d probably pick something different next time.

Waitress was quick and pleasant, place was clean. Definitely worth going.

I never write reviews, but what happened at **Mike’s in Davis Square** was absolutely outrageous and needs to be addressed.

Let’s start with the food: **hands down the worst plate of pasta I’ve ever had in my life.** It tasted like it was **thrown together by a sleep-deprived intern who’s never seen a stove.** Limp noodles, watery sauce with zero flavor, and somehow both undercooked and overcooked at the same time. It was like they opened the fridge, dumped in leftovers, and hoped no one would notice.

What’s worse? I honestly believe the kitchen **switched plates or served a completely different dish than what I ordered.** I called back as soon as I got home and explained the situation clearly and calmly, hoping they’d at least offer to fix it. Instead, they **gaslit me.** The woman on the phone, **Christina**, who was working the **Sunday night shift around 10:30 PM**, flat-out **blamed ME** for ordering it wrong.

She told me, “Well *you’re* the one who ordered that pasta,” like I somehow deserved the slop they served. No apology. No offer to make it right. Just attitude and excuses.

This isn’t just bad service — this is **blatant disrespect to paying customers.** I work hard for my money like everyone else. I wasn’t expecting five-star dining, but I at least expected edible food and basic courtesy.

To anyone thinking about eating at Mike’s: **save yourself the money, time, and frustration.** There are a dozen better spots within walking distance. And to management: if you care at all about your business, **check your kitchen and your staff — especially Christina — because this was absolutely unacceptable.**

**Mike’s in Davis Square just made my “never again” list.**
