This place has been a mainstay in Davis as long as I can remember. It can be a bit pricey though for what you get, but I still drop in once a month or so for a sandwich and beer.

Very very good value for price. A jumbo calzone costs in the mid 30$ range and is about 2-3 days of food for one person.

We went to Mike's for the first time time today and definitely won't be coming back.-the salads we received all had expired lettuce, including one with fuzzy mold on it. Thankfully we noticed immediately and didn't touch it.-the food itself was simply not restaurant quality. My wife's chicken broccoli ziti somehow came with fried/oily chicken and my lasagna was soggy and had chunks thinly sliced sausage in it instead of proper ground beef Bolognese-the sauce is very poor qualityThe Positives? They do have some cool drinks, but not cool enough to go back and I'm sure you can find other places that also have cool drinks, solid food, and better service overall.

The staff was negligent my first time and gave me the wrong sauce for my pasta. That was fine cause I swapped with someone and they loved it. I wanted chicken ziti with Alfredo and I know that’s not Italian but oh well the American Italians made it a thing ! And their chefs are from Central America anyways so the authentic Italian went out the window. The second time I had the spinach pasta it almost killed me . It made my mouth so dry I had cotton mouth. The Alfredo is trash flavorless .They have one dish with vodka sauce I like that sauce the most but it only comes with that dish (it has pork in it).I know Italians love the pig but they do have none pork pastas .Idk I can’t send y’all here for pasta it’s to pricey . And they give the smallest ration of meatIt’s not disgusting just not worth the moneyso if you do come share with someone and see if you like it first .The Turkey sandwich is okI liked that they had fresh pasta but I don’t like the food integrity I don’t think they have any. I think it’s a bunch of people who only want a check the food has no loveand that’s not the Italian way !Dietary restrictions: They have non pork options . Did not notice gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: I think they are very kid friendly before the drinks come in , even still it’s ok.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s steps and low tables . Person with disabilities absolutely welcomed !

Not the best food. Lemonade was ok. Why buzz to use the bathroom? Shouldn’t it be for everyone? Not my cup of tea. But ok.

I don’t know what happened to this place they were my go to 2 to 3 times a week when I lived in the neighbor hood a couple of years ago. Figured I would take my family there for old time sake. The service was terrible. And so was the food. I understand everything is going up price wise. But for 2 sandwiches, 2 beers and a Mac n cheese. 70 dollars I paid for absolute garbage. Do better like everyone knows you can.

I just waited 20+ minutes for a takeout soup at 3:30 in the afternoon when there was one table with patrons and three people at the bar. When I complained, the guy at the counter, who spent the entire time laughing with his friends, shrugged and said it wasn't his fault -- and deliberately didn't give me a spoon. And the soup was mediocre. And ridiculously overpriced. Used to be a good place.

I'm pretty surprised at all of the 3 and lower star reviews here. I've ordered from Mike's a number of times, and while it is true that every time I've ordered for delivery from the restaurant, the drivers have taken an extremely long time to deliver the food, it's always been great, and in fact it's actually been pretty excellent. I am docking 1 star because of the delivery time, but surprisingly the food is still always hot and tasty despite taking a long time to get here.Today, I submitted an order at 12:33 which was supposed to arrive at 1:05-1:15, but in actuality it arrived at 1:50ish. That's not too bad, but like I said it has been pretty consistent with my past experiences. I've ordered subs in the past which have been pretty good, but this time I decided to get a Keto Pizza with cauliflower crust.Cheese pizza with cauliflower crust (keto) - I've never actually had cauliflower crust pizza before so I'm not sure how normal this is, but this was possibly one of the best crusts I've ever had on a pizza of any kind. It was perfectly crispy on the exterior, but wonderfully chewy in a way that had some bite but not too much chewiness if that makes sense. It was a really hearty pizza, and the dough texture was simply the best I've ever had. The sauce was also wonderfully tomato-ey with nice acidity and sweetness - it didn't taste like your typical marinara sauce from a jar or a can. The cheese was pretty normal, but they put a good amount on top so the ratio of cheese to sauce to crust was perfect. And I said it earlier, but that crust really was something special - it was thin but had the perfect bite to it.I would 100% order this again, and although the delivery time can get a little annoying, the actual quality of the Keto pizza is worth the wait. 4/5 stars!

The service was some of the most inattentive service I have ever experienced. It took us forever to even get some water….extremely lazy service. Had to chase them down to even get the check….they were not busy by any means, which honestly should have been a red flag in the first place, especially with it being a Friday night…The food was also extremely disappointing. I got the Alfredo with chicken and broccoli, which somehow tasted shockingly of Chinese food. The chicken had a sickly look to it. I was told I would be receiving a side salad which I never received. My boyfriend got an Italian sub which was decent, not mind blowing by any means, but fine. Much better than the Chinese inspired Alfredo I received at the very least. They have an AMAZING location, but its potential is being squandered with the utter mediocrity that I experienced.

Food was ok. Nothing to write home about, but not terrible. Service was nonexistent. And then the bill came. Each item was at least $5 more than the menu stated.
