Not needed, but a pleasant surprise when sliding it out of the brown bag, after an unpleasantly surprisingly-long commute home. Pizza looked delish when i walked in, and may need to try a jar of the sauce, too...

It is so rare these days that you can find a restaurant with quality food AND exceptional service. Look no further. I'm picky about pizza, and food in general. I've tried pizza all over this country, and even in Italy. One day, while being sad about the fact that I can't get back to Rome to have their pizza anytime soon, I came across Mortadella Head. The food put me into another realm. I can honestly say this is some of the best pizza, and some of the best sandwiches in Boston. I've lived here long enough to know. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! Get down to Mortadella !

Food is delicious, best Italian I have ever had meat is stacked and sliced thin. only problem is the blond at the front cant get an order right. I travel from the cape all the way to Somerville for this chick to mess it up every sing time for the last 3 weeks. I dont think hots oil and vinegar are too much to ask for and some utensils to eat the food with. The first time I was like maybe she didn't hear me when I asked for oil and vinegar so i was super clear the next 2 time and still none Other issue is I order my food in person mind you its a sub and an Italian on bed of lettuce not to hard.. after waiting30+ mins and watching the 3 different orderes behind me get their food... it's frustrating when you're starving only to get your food wrong and have to deal with this girl again.... Make life easier for everybody put the eating utensils out front so people can grab it themselves along with oil and vinegar.
Dietary restrictions: They do all subs on bed of lettuce for anyone with Celiac or gluten allergies. Great option.
Kid-friendliness: Dont bring your kids theres no room
First of all, everyone is always nice and they’ve always got smiles! The Buffalo chicken salad is my go-to, but the pizza…. Oh my goodness the pizza. The Mamaluke is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Everything is fresh and delicious!! Won’t be disappointed, so def give them a shot.

After seeing this neighborhood area place on the Phantom Gourmet with RAVE reviews, it was a total bust. I ordered delivery and they told me 30-45 minutes. After 1 hour and 45 minutes , my order showed up. The Pizza was cold and more like a soiup than a pizza. The rest of the apps were made from frozen premade junk. Disgusting product.

Very disappointing order we received this Sunday afternoon. Pizza was cold, smelled horrid, and sauce was bitter. We didn’t receive a caesar salad that we ordered. And like the pizza, all the subs, fries, and mozzarella sticks were ice cold. Spent $198 to be completely let down despite all the positive reviews that we saw.
