Always been one of my favorite restaurants in Davis Square and something I enjoyed whenever I've been in the neighborhood. However, I recently had a terrible experience here. A friend of my partner's was coming from out of town and staying nearby, so I suggested we all have Mr Crepe for dinner. We arrived around 930 and they told us they were only serving takeout. However, a well dressed party of four came in barely a minute before us and were served at the table. This was a huge inconvenience for our friend, who was using a walker and could have used a place to sit down and eat after a long day of travel. It gave us the impression that a dressed down older woman in a walker accompanied by a couple of other casually dressed folks was not the kind of crowd that they'd prefer.Unless you want a side order of snobbery, there's plenty of other places for crepes in Boston.

It is also a very comfortable place, the food or the crepe is very good. You can serve it sweet or savory, or with ice cream. It is a very calm environment.

Very nice food at an affordable price. Like always in the Boston area tables are crowded with people overstaying.

While the food can be delightful when certain chefs are on duty, the overall experience falls short. The cozy atmosphere is marred by the weekday rush, and even familiarity with the cashier doesn't spare customers from problems. On Sunday, March 10th at 1 pm, my incorrect order was met with a dismissive attitude. The rushed staff seemed solely focused on turnover, leaving my incorrect order unaddressed. Despite the delicious crepes, the disappointing service overshadows any culinary pleasures.

Made couple stops here for lunch/brunch since it is conveniently located right next to Davis T station. And I definitely recommend the crepes from here! We tried specialty salmon crepe, super pesto crepe, and fresh tomatoes crepe from savory menu, and strawberries & nutella from gourmet sweet crepe menu. Our favorite was fresh tomatoes crepe, it is so refreshing and adequately wrapped, as we don't usually like burrito style crepes. Super pesto was rich in flavor and heavy, I'd get it again! Strawberries & Nuetella crepe was also delicious. However, salmon crepe was not great, it tasted like the ingredients didn't blend in well. I'd like to try their bakery stuffs and drinks as well next time!

Went in for hot chocolate. Delicious. Would rate it 5 stars for that, but then one of the employees was standing at the opening between the counter and the table area picking his nose. Boldly digging in. I don't know if he was a cook or what, but that's enough for me to not even buy food there. Too bad.

Great crêpes. Counter service. Very crowded on a Sunday morning; a bit unnerving during the ongoing pandemic.
