I got a salmon onigiri and a bbq beef bowl. The salmon onigiri was stale, but the salmon inside tasted fresh. The bbq beef bowl was essentially steak tips on top of rice with a marinated soft boiled egg. The steak tips kinda tasted off, I assume it's because it was pre cooked and then warmed up? The marinade was good, as well as the egg. The rice was perfectly cooked. I was a bit disappointed considering it's price point. I assume all the freshly fried/steamed items...
Delicious and authentic Japanese food. My favorite is Japanese curry with tonkatsu (pork cutlet), but fried chicken is fantastic, too. Highly recommended if you are looking for an authentic Japanese lunch box :)
Straight up some of the most authentic and delicious Japanese food I've had outside of Japan.
Nagisa and crew also experiments with things like a katsu hotdog. The whole operation is incredibly earnest, and I'm so stoked they got their own location after spinning out from nibble kitchen next door.
