This place has a fantastic lineup of brews, and is the only place I’ve ever seen a cask beer. On top of that I probably had the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had here.

This spot came recommended but I’ll admit I didn’t have super high hopes coming in. Turns out the food is delicious and the vibe is right. I would come here over the Burren in Davis everyday, so if you’re reading this review deciding where to go, I vote Olde Magoun’s Saloon. I thought the menu was more interesting, the food definitely better, and the prices lower. We got the currywurst and a Reuben and both were tasty. The Reuben came with an interesting Cajun pasta salad.
I look forward to returning!

I normally like this place until yesterday when the hostess was very rude to my group completely unprompted. I have only been one other time and just sat at the bar so when we got there we walked in towards and empty table and the hostess very rudely said to us “it’s not seat yourself” and then took down our names. She proceeded to tell us we needed to move despite there being little space to move to without still being in the way. My friend asked “where would you like us?” And said “literally anywhere not in the way” with a huge attitude. Then followed with “it will be a 45 to an hour wait by the way.” We left after that. I understand they get busy during trivia but when we got there it wasn’t even fully at capacity. It would have been understandable IF she was kind at first then we did something rude then she got frustrated. Instead she was just rude to us off the bat and it felt unwarranted
Excellent beer selection, and the food is shockingly good as well. I have not had a bad meal here. Great place to watch a big sporting event, or just go for a nice meal.

One of my favorites. They have a great beer list with always changing drafts of harder to find beers. The food is very good, especially the many special events they have. My favorite is fish and chips on Fridays - they are the best in town!

Excellent Irish pub with way better than average food, good cider and beer selection, friendly staff, discreet TVs, no canned music (you can have a conversation with your table mates without cupping your hand behind your ear :) and they’re open for lunch every day and serve food until 9:30.

Great spot for wings and good beer. A great sports bar, but it gets a bit packed during major games.

We've made a habit of dropping by on Mondays for 50 cent wings. The wings are fresh, crispy, and delicious. The plain wings are a favorite of ours. This is a testament to the quality of the chicken, frying method, and bleu cheese alone. Buffalo is also super yummy. The meal would not be complete without a rotating cast of cask beer to wash it down.

Sat at the bar, bartender placed 2 menus in front of me (same menus) without saying a word. Another bartender (much nicer/friendlier) took my order. Food, ordered burger, asked how I wanted it done. Medium rare. Showed up medium well. Won't be coming back. It's too bad because it's a great location, 1 staff member was great but the negatives outweighed the positives.
