Tried the chicken gyro at Opa Greek Gyro and really enjoyed it! The meat was flavorful and tender, and everything tasted fresh. Portion size was just right, and the pita was soft and warm. Definitely a solid spot if you’re craving a good gyro. Will be coming back to try more from the menu!

I’ve never done a review before but I’m moving away soon and have always been touched by how kind the people are here. Any time I have stopped by I was treated extremely warmly and the service was even better the one time I ate for-here at the tables outside with my partner. The food is generous as well and very good. Another Greek place recently opened in Davis but this is the family-run spot you want to support.

Love this place so much. The food is awesome - I always get the pork gyro. Every component is great. We get takeout a lot and it is excellent, but recently went to eat in person and it was even more delicious hot and fresh. The restaurant is small but there are a few bar seats and it is lovely. The people who work there are very kind, especially to my 1 year old who was there with us.

Formerly absolutely the best fries in the area and super tasty gyro erc, under changed ownership the food has never been the same and now it's just okay. Gyro pita overloaded with so-so meat and nowhere near enough veg etc. I am a meat enjoyer, but there should be balance. Nice people.
This used to be one of the best places in Somerville before the state seized it for unpaid taxes back in 2023. It reopened with new ownership and isn’t bad… but it’s not nearly as delicious as it used to be, and the prices are higher. And I miss the beef/lamb gyro… new owners have twice lectured on how it’s not traditional, and I don’t care.
Anyway, went from I’d go out of my way on the regular pre-2023 to I’ll eat there maybe if I’m in Davis and specifically could go for a gyro.

5 stars is an understatement! My sister and I visited Opa Greek Yeeros last night and it was the most pleasant surprise. A Greek family owned place, super welcoming and friendly with undoubtedly the most authentic yeeros, just like back home. Please please support this amazing restaurant, because it’s a gem, they even have Greek soft drinks:)) Irini and Spyros, thank you so much for everything, you made our day! PAOK mono
