Pretty decent spot open late. Not sure why the recent reviews are super negative. I did move recently, so maybe it was better before. Picked up during a rainstorm when everything else nearby was closed. Took ~20 minutes for a fried rice and veggie lo mein. I like that they are obviously healthier than a lot of takeout places, even if it means the food isn't as flavorful as it otherwise could be. Brown rice gang ??

Gotta say, for what it is (fast greasy Chinese food), it's damn good. Always quick and the staff are friendly. FWIW the sign says they are now Dumpling Buddy but they show up on food-delivery apps as Oriental still. Either way, the eggroll is solid.

Solid! One of the stronger inexpensive Chinese takeout places in the area, especially with the late hours. I think it is better than many of its price-level peers. Soup dumplings are pretty flavorful!

Not your typical egg rolls which explains why when we visit the area we always stop and take 20-50 home to NC with us. They make them their selves with fresh pork & vegetables, mainly celery on Wednesday’s & Friday’s so if you want a big batch call to place your order. They also make their own Crab Ragoon and Duck Sauce which are both delicious. Other menu items are also delicious but the egg rolls are what bring us back every year.

I ordered the pu pu platter, and every part of it was fantastic. The best egg rolls I'vehad in years. The beef teriyaki, and boneless spare ribs were tender, and delicious. Perfectly cooks. The chicken wings were also Perfectly cooked. The crab rangoons had the perfect crispiness, and the filling had the perfect sweetness. The chicken fingers, and fried shrimp had the nicest batter. Perfectly light, and crispy. Even the duck sauce was perfect. I will be getting my Chinese food from here from now on.

We used to love this place. The food was pretty good for the price, and the portions in the combination plates were good.. The new owners ruined a good business.. The food is oily, the portions are smaller, the boneless ribs were like leather, and it doesn't taste good..I miss the old Oriental. I am sad that there's no good Chinese in the area anymore.

Believe all the bad reviews from the past year. New ownership, tasteless food, fried rice that’s inedible, they couldn’t even get white rice right. Clearly not fresh. The salt and pepper jumbo shrimp for $17.95 was clearly breaded and fried sometime long before, and reheated, so the shrimp was wrapped in what seemed like stale, cold, detached pop tart pastry. The orange chicken was OK I guess.

Portions are smaller, prices same or a little higher, food is ok-ish. They've removed the small vs large size options, and food just doesn't taste the same as they are using different recipes, for the same items on the menu.

Order dinner for new years.....paid 45$ two plates if food, order orange chicken, and general's Gau's. Gabe me two General gau's. Then got 6 crab Rangoon and they were legit dark brown cause the used old oil. Honestly have eaten there since I was 15. 15 years later, and it's absolutely horrible what I paid 45 for dinner . I could of gotten for 16 on the lunch special.. 1/5 stars is being generous

I'm confused because their awning says Dumpling Buddy and that's what Uber Eats calls it too but my receipt said "Oriental Chinese" I guess they are under new management? TLDR: All in all, I appreciate their dumplings and that the menu goes beyond generic. Anyway, my first experience was a walk-in to take a chance on some dumplings for takeout. I was touched that the woman behind the counter offered us tea (in actual ceramic mugs!) while we waited! The dumplings were good, especially the mini juicy soup dumplings. I've had enough dumpling trauma in the Boston area that I never know what to expect, so I was quite pleased. That itself says a lot, particularly for an unassuming takeout spot whose raison d'être isn't dumplings The second time around, I found them on Uber Eats (I didn't realize they have their own website under "Oriental Chinese", as I couldn't find Dumpling Buddy's website) Ordered spring rolls and egg rolls but they were identical. Nevertheless, whatever they were was really delicious! The hot chicken wings were pretty good, too. Some of the other dishes were okay; although they didn't knock my socks off, there was a certain creativity to them that went beyond generic, like general tso's tofu and an interesting curry note in chow fun noodles. All in all, I appreciate their dumplings and that the menu goes beyond generic.

Old Stinky P. really dislikes giving negative reviews...he really does. But the food he got here recently was really not at all good. Apps were tough and some were not edible...and rice was really awful. On the plus side...the Egg Roll was tasty...and they did give two Duck sauces. Ninety percent of the meal ended in the garbage disposal. Such a disappointment since Stinky loves his Chinese dishes.

What used to be an every weekend dinner for the family has changed to a never again event. Not sure if the owners change hands but everything they make has changed for the worse especially their rice recipe. Sadly we will be looking elsewhere for our weekend Chinese food event.

Ridiculous. No respect. The Chinese restaurants in the area won’t survive another year.
