This used to be my favorite breakfast sandwich in the world…but since covid they continually change their recipes & their breakfast sandwich is unrecognizable. Served on a untoasted hamburger bun with arugula…really really unfortunate.

Their food truck is a joke. Food is disgusting and ridiculously over priced. $14 for a still frozen pretzel dipped in oil. The bread itself was grey under the orange oil. Took 1 bite and had to throw it away. Was like eating sand.My boyfriend got their pork sandwich for $20. They burnt his 1st one and then gave him a replacement one that was cold and uncooked. We also had to throw that away for fear of getting sick from undercooked pork.

Best porchetta sandwich I’ve ever had. I tried it at the Saint Anthony’s fest in the North End and it was the best decision I made. I’ll definitely be visiting their brick & mortar sometime soon!

Would have liked to give this place a 5 but the state of the kitchen was a little anxiety inducing to anyone observant enough to peek inside. Prep was not done and although we were the only people who ordered, our sandwiches took about 10minutes to assemble. We ordered the lamb sando and the porchetta. The lamb left something to be desired but the porchetta was delightful. Delicious sandwich.

The food is very overpriced for what you get. The fried chicken was crispy but lacked salt and seasoning. It was essentially flavorless. I also tried their chorizo taco, but I could not pick it up because the tortilla fell apart as soon as I tried to grip it. I had to eat the taco with a fork and no tortilla. Overall, it was a mediocre food truck experience.

I went to Pennypacker's in High Street Place (Boston). First timer. Outstanding porchetta sandwich (I chose to have it with mostarda, which is a kind of fruity/spicy jam). Extremely simple sandwich of pork, fresh bread, and mostarda. Just outstanding and a great value at 11.95 vs other offerings within high street place. I could tell that the gentlemen crafting my sandwich are hardworking pros who care about the customer experience.

Ordered “fried pickles” and was given an array of friend vegetables. I was like “yo I think I have the wrong order?” The dude was like “that’s the way we do it” and I was like” there are no pickles..” and he was like “that’s the way we do it…”. Now they was legitimately not a single friend pickle in my dish. I’m upset that I am so upset by this.
I'm looking for the best fried chicken sandwich in MA. Pennypackers is quite good. The chicken itself is excellent, crispy and juicy and tasty and the biscuit is also very tasty. The cabbage is a bit greasy but has some interesting flavors like spring onions.

Extremely fresh and thoughtful food that tastes homemade. Sides are great value - much larger than expected. I love that their menu rotates, it makes every visit more exciting. Staff is very friendly and online ordering is easy. Can't wait to try more sandwiches and soup.

Fried chicken sandwich and meatloaf sandwich were amazing!!! Best sandwich I've ever had! The chicken was crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside. Came with a parsnip and apple puree I couldn't get enough of! Ciabatta bread was perfect and also crispy outside but soft inside. Ate at home and added a little mayo to each to top it off. Can tell this place is high quality. Will definitely come back!!
