Please do not support this business! People with severe food allergies are not allowed to eat their food inside the restaurant. Not only that, but they make the encounter embarrassing! I guess I could eat on the bench outside. Unbelievable! Illegal! Help me spread the word to shut down Posto! Interesting Posto literally means take a seat. Italians would be embarrassed at the way you treated a guest!! You should be ashamed of yourself.
Very average flavors and food, above average prices. I've eaten Italian food all over the world, including Italy and Naples. My experience at Posto was average. The pizza was good, but not exceptional. The crust was too thick and dense, too heavy on the garlic, and the sauce was too acidic. The pizza was soggy by the time we left. The pesto pasta dish was mild and the flavors lacked complexity. The short rib gnocchi was the dish I looked forward to the most, and enjoyed the least. The gnocchi were uniform and lacked the full taste of freshly made potato gnocchi. The short rib was overcooked and chewy.
The prices for the quality mean I won't be back.
Best pizza so far, service was great. Although, the noise was too much.
Don’t even think about ordering online. I take forever to get your order delivered. The restaurant doesn’t even pick the phone to give you an update.
Seriously?! This was the worst food I've ever had in my life!!!!!!!! I don't know how you can make pizza taste so bad. We waited 30 minutes plus for our pizzas. Even being starving, I almost couldn't eat our food. The carbonara pasta came in a soup form. OMG
After finding out about the award winning chef, we couldn’t help but come try the pizza! But food was ok, the service however, makes us not want to return. Our server, a male with glasses and a man bun, took about 10–15 minutes just to greet us, and then another 10–15 minutes to take our drink order. We were very close to leaving or just going to the bar. I work in the industry, so we were generous to still leave 20%, but it was not a good experience. Every time he came to the table, it felt like we were being judged or looked down on. To top it off, as we were leaving, we overheard him gossiping about us with the host, not realizing we were right behind him! Ok food, but extremely disappointing service. We won’t be coming back.
I would like to say 5 ⭐️, but a couple services issues make a 4 start experience. My wife & I were sitting in a high top by the window. Not server show up for like 10-15 minutes so we decided to move to the bar. Then it turn to another experience, bar guis were great and easy, I think Ezequiel was this me of the guys. But food wise, they are doing everything right, I loved every dish. The carpaccio is something else, the burrata and watermelon salad is amazing, and then then pizzas are unique and delicious, recommend the Sopressata Pizza. Food is 10/10, and great prices for the zone they are
This place is overrated by a mile. This places is supposedly to be top 50 pizzas in the world. Personally I disagree. I have no idea who judges to put this pizza at this ranking. Firstly the pizza was a bit on the bigger side which explains why it was burnt yet undercooked because pizza this size takes a lot of skill to master to perfection. For some reason somone had the idea to put sea salt on top of the pizza, as if it’s not salty enough from the sauce, cheese, and dough. And lastly this place is completely ridiculous in terms of prices. Pizza, in general should be on the cheaper side. I get it it’s 2025 things have changed with stuff, but pizza on this level should be a bit of the cheaper side. In my mind 22 dollars is outrageous. I have definitely tried better pizzas, but this places is not terrible, just came back a bit disappointed. But the interior is very nice to give credit, their staff is very friendly and nice. Overall if you like “oversized salty soggy burnt neopolitan pizzas and don’t care about price”,knock yourself out and go here. If not, I suggest not to come if you want a true authentic neopolitan pizza.
Food was good. Wait service was good. Host was incredibly unaccomodating especially given the restaurant was empty. We almost left
We recently moved from Spain to Boston, and Google led us straight to Posto for its raved-about pizza. It looked like it was going to be an incredibly busy night, but it was clear that for the staff, this kind of night was just another day everything flowed beautifully.
Despite a packed crowd and a long waitlist, the wait time ended up being shorter than expected. The front team was doing everything they could to accommodate everyone with a smile, and it didn’t go unnoticed.
One thing that stood out right away was the bar crew they brought such a refreshing vibe. You could just feel that they enjoyed their work, and that kind of energy is contagious.
There was a tough table sitting behind us that gave their server a really hard time, but we were so impressed by how the entire team from the manager to the water fillers jumped in to try and turn the situation around with grace and professionalism. Honestly, have we learned nothing from COVID about respect and appreciation?
During our dinner, we found out the chef was recently recognized on the world stage. How cool is that? It felt like we were lucky to be there on such a special night. Our food arrived on time, perfectly cooked, and the cocktails were next level especially the espresso martini. Wow.
Posto has definitely become our new #1 spot in Boston. Thank you for a magnificent evening we’ll absolutely be back!

Place order on line which gave me a time of 67 minutes to pick up I went with my son to pick and enter 60 minutes into the order pizza was ready but it was hot hot not warm it was cold
Very disappointed
Food was good - just my daughter and I so we shared the chicken Parmesan and garlic bread which was on a pizza crust. but service was slow.
We miss the old Posto in Davis Square which was a little more intimate and quiter. But that being said the food is still outstanding and the service once we got seated was excellent.
The food was pretty good but the service was extremely slow. If you have 40 mins to wait around for your food then it's totally worth it.
Read that the pizzaiolo at Posto was ranked 54th in the top 100 worldwide and top pizza chef in the US, so wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! I ate the best pizza outside of Naples. I was not, however, wowed by the service. Busy evening, hot weather, a Saturday account for lack of smiles and warmth. Prices are quite high but if everything is as good as my pizza, then it's worth a visit.
