Quiet here when I went on a rainy Sunday afternoon, but I can absolutely imagine how busy this place can get late at night. They offer just the kind of options you might want after a night out, and then some. I had the "Railway Club", which was basically a triple decker chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion (which they didn't skimp on!), cucumber, and mint aioli. I had this along with a side of spicy fries and washed it down with a nice, hot cup of masala chai. Everything was very delicious and the portions were so big, I needed a box. My sandwich tasted even better out of the fridge the following day. Would highly recommend. Next time, I hope to try some of the Indian appetizers to pair with that Masala Chai I loved so much. Hope to be back soon!

Vegetarian options: As this is an Indian-American restaurant, there are plenty of tasty veggie options available for those who prefer a meatless meal. But meat eaters will not be disappointed either, as there is something for just about everyone.

My wife and I went to Rosebud with her cousins. We ordered the butter chicken pot pie, which was a solid choice. The pakoras were good, and the Mississippi mud pie was definitely the standout dish; the hybrid fusion was such fun for all members of the family.

Manager Raunaq was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The vibe is warm and inviting. Interestingly, I suspect the restaurant’s name is a tribute to the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota, home to the Lakota Rosebud Sioux Tribe.

Vegetarian options: my wife's cousin's hubby is vegetarian and he loved the food

Dietary restrictions: I believe it was Kosher & Halal friendly but I didn't check

Parking: we didn't drive but my wife's cousins easily found parking

Kid-friendliness: Kids would love the diner concept

Who ever thought to combine Indian cuisine with diner fare? Not me, but I'm sure glad the folks behind Rosebud did. The upscale diner fare pairs very well with reimagined Indian flavors such Tandoori Steak Frites and Butter Chicken Pot Pie. Ok, maybe I just have a love for Makhani sauce, but it's so tasty! It's a great compliment in particular to the Steak Frites.

Service was slow both times I visited (late lunch) despite few crowds, so don't expect typical diner speed of you're in a rush.

Overall, give Rosebud a try if you want to try something unique yet familiar.

Unique dining experience, it's okay if you don't see the entrance right away! The staff is very welcoming and attentive. And the food is delicious. The BEST home fries I have ever eaten. And the chai French toast was unique. Rosebud omelette was fantastic! Bottomless coffee is a must.

So I am from Mumbai, I haven’t been back in 1 year and the food was PERFECT!!! The schezwan fried rice and the vada pav was SO FRESH and DELICIOUS. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would ? I cannot recommend this enough, I would die for this food and I am going to sleep like a baby tonight because I’m so happy. If you’re unsure - GO TRY THIS, you will not regret it.

Amazing menu. Was hard to decide what to order. Loved everything we had, especially the Kerala fried chicken sandwich, spicy fries, dal hummus, and the cocktails (Famous Last Words and Bombay to Boston).

Kid-friendliness: Great food and drink options for kids, for any meal, as well as kid friendly atmosphere.

What a delight this restaurant is! The atmosphere and the service are 5+ STARS. The food is a overall 4 Star for us, because as vegetarians, we couldn't order food that was marked as vegetarian since they came with sides that were not vegetarian friendly.

We ordered the following:
- Indian Vegetable Chili aka Pav Bhaji (5/5); this was one of the best things we had here.
- Chana Kati Roll (4/5); accompanying potato fries are fried in oil shared by meat/fish. Our waiter substituted it with a vegan slaw, which was meh.
- Grilled Cheese with Rasam (5/5); second best thing we had here.
- Dal Hummus (1/5); the roti was a disgrace, hummus missed the mark entirely and was blah. This item was served ice cold and was difficult to eat. Please revist this in terms of flavor and presentation.
- Masala Chai (3/5) very milky, very light, a miss. If you crave kadak (strong/full-bodied/robust) chai, keep looking.
- Mango Lassi (4/5); the raspberry (?) syrup made it too sweet.

Rosebud considers eggs vegetarian. Plus they fry sides in the same oil shared by meat/fish. As lacto-vegetarians who don't eat eggs, our menu shrunk and our options were quite limited.

Request to the management to use a different fryer for vegetarian food. For vegans and vegetarians french fries that smell/ taste like chicken or fish is unappetizing.

Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the very friendly wait staff! We will visit again and hope to see more vegetarian/vegan friendly items!

Vegetarian options: Fried foods cooked in the same oil as meat.

Small servings, unappetizing plating, poor service. Would not recommend. We liked this place before it relaunched with a new menu.

It has been a long time since we’ve dined out and had genuinely good food at a reasonable price. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing— we’ll be coming back!!

Don’t go here for American breakfast, that’s simply gone. Terrible coffee, place was empty on a Saturday morning. No surprise. Why keep diner ascetic if you don’t understand the cuisine? Indian food is great, just go with that and drop the pancakes and bacon. Or at least have some diversity in the kitchen. And fix the leaking roof, the water damage looks really gross.
