This is a wonderful place! We always have so much fun! Liam the owner supports amazing live music! Spencer is a fantastic bartender/waiter: always knows what we want and when we want it. I love this place more than any bar/pub in the Boston area, and I've been to most of them. Thank you, Liam, for supporting live music and creating such a fabulous community!

Great Irish Bar! We stopped on our way back from seeing the Queen concert at TD Gardens. It was late so the kitchen had closed. We're not from the Boston area, but we felt really welcomed. Live music had left, but the music on playtunes was great! The bartender, was so friendly. My only regret is that this bar isn't where we live. When we come back to Somerville, Sally O'Brien's is a warm & friendly bar. A must stop! Thank you.

This is our neighborhood local Monday bar! Simple bar, simple food, no fuss or frills, and live music. This place has an old/curated feel. Wood bar tops and bar shelves. Live music every week blues, jazz, etc. Come for a beer after work, or if you want to come feel like a local.
Sallys has a new digital sound system prooving sallys owners really cares aboit quality entertainmemt. Briiliantly, sallys has earlier shows on friday saturday sunday and then later shows as well. Great network of musicans play regularly and plenty of diverse acts 6 nites a week All ages. I can honestly say I have never ever ever ever ever left a review in my life. However, I am so frustrated at the person who was working tonight at the bar. I understand she was incredibly busy, she truly was. I am 43 year old Man, carded and then was spoke to in a manor that was F**ked up. Waited 30 mins to get my drink and when going to pay was told my card doesn’t work and then came back to my friends place to only find that I was billed after my friend payed. I get it we have bad days but this is was totally unbelievable. My mother made beds for a living, I would never disrespect a women or a human being for that matter. I only communicate this as I want it to be 100% that this person was completely rude l, unreasonable and went out of her way to make our time there uncomfortable.
