My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place and I'm glad we did! It was our first time eating Haitian food so we were excited.
The woman tending to us was so sweet and explained to us our options and let us try samples. She genuinely wanted us to enjoy our meal and I felt that love from her.
We ended up splitting a dinner plate with chicken, salad, plantains, rice, and mac n cheese. Everything was clearly homemade and delicious. Portions were generous and we both left full. They even made fresh cheesecake and gave us some to try, literally they were so kind!
Really I only have good things to say about this place and I recommend you support their business because they were awesome and the food was of high quality!!

I was nervous trying a new place but baby they didn't disappoint! Alot of haitian restaurants I go to have dry meat but sister's caribbean blew my mind. The fried beef was cooked to perfection crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside and the portions of plantains and rice and enormous. This is my new spot when im in Somerville.

This place has great food BUT they’re ALWAYS out of stock of their most popular dishes. When the food is available it’s delicious. They need to do a better job at keeping a full inventory of their actual menu. Customer service needs improvement. Even if you place an order ahead of time you will still be waiting upon arrival.

I recently just started working in the area, and wanted some good Caribbean food. Annnnd baby once i stepped into this place you can smell the wholesome goodness of the food cooking. I met the owners who are a husband and wife duo. They are super friendly, and very welcoming. The portions are very generous, and very yummy. I ordered a large rice and beans and goat which was very tender.

We ordered the goat with plantains, and it was pretty tasty! There was a salad, but it was plain and they did not provide any dressing.
The low rating comes from their inconsistent pricing. Their menu was not available in the restaurant due to electricity issues (which is fine), but we were told to look online at the menu instead. We looked on google (here on maps) and it showed the price for around $22. When I went to pay, it came up as $28. We asked about this, and they said that we should have checked the grub hub (or other food delivery) menus since they’re up to date.
It’s okay to make mistakes! but I found it inconsiderate, that they made us pay for their mistake of either 1. not confirming the price before making the food; or 2. not amending it after we brought the discrepancy to their attention.
I also want to recognize that it looks like they have fixed the price on google now.
The gentleman at the front was nice, but the way they handled this situation was not the greatest. Either way, we didn’t make a big fuss out of it since it looks like a family-owned restaurant.

Don't to try get lunch at 12:30 here, there wasn't any food is ready to be purchase. They are still cooking in kitchen...so disappointed. I guess they're not aiming lunch crowds. I did taste some food from coworker's purchased from prior week. It did taste good to encourage me to drop by but I didn't have any luck today. It is take out only I didn't see tables to sit down to eat.

Had an online order and my sides wasn't in my cart and I paid for them it's annoying when you pay for extra sides and they refuse to put it in the cart smfh never agin will I order from this place again not to mention I ordered 2 hours ago and drop it at 2 something I can post the drop off to bit food is wack and my sides wasn't in my bag that i paid for never again ima make my own side next time
