We come here EVERY time we head to Boston. It is a fan favorite, from the fresh Pasteles, Kibe, Coxinhna, bakery items, as well as pao de queijo. Can't go wrong. The staff primarily speak Portuguese, but it makes sense since it is a Brazilian deli style location.

This place serves high quality food at a reasonable price. My wife is Brazilian and is an excellent cook - and she loves the food here. The desserts are also incredible. The only ding on the atmosphere is that there is just one long table shared by all and you may have to remove the dirty dishes on your own.

The warm, friendly service makes you feel instantly at home — just like stepping into a café back in Brazil. Whether you’re here for a quick bite, a fresh pastry, or a full meal, every visit is a delicious journey.

Great place for those looking for Brazilian snacks and sweets, good service and a wide variety of products. For those looking to dine in, it can sometimes get too crowded and lack space and tables. But it's definitely worth getting to know and trying Brazilian delicacies.

Great place to pick up some coffee and pastries. We were from out of town and my friend was not familiar with some of the pastries. There’s only a few tables inside. This place is really designed for take out. The staff was amazing — patient in introducing us to some new foods. Thank you to the staff !

Delicious 😋
Best place and friends
Best Pastry around! The pastel is fantastic and it’s made by order
I ordered a coxinha, but unfortunately, it came out a bit overcooked and served cold. When I asked to exchange it for a different type of salgado, the attendant informed me that all of them would be identical to what I had already received. This left me feeling frustrated, as I was hoping for a better experience.

I've been going to this bakery for 9 years now, and I LOOOVE it!! It's clean, the staff is great, and the food is fantastic! I especially love their coxinhas. I'm Brazilian myself, and can vouch for the quality of the food. If you love Brazilian baked goods, this is perfect place!
Went for breakfast (coffee, pastel de queijo). Somewhat disappointed for both were warm, far from hot. It was quite annoying having to be exposed to the so called “música gospel”.
It is their business but it feels some kind of unwanted and out of place religious proselytism. Some Brazilian business owners seem to ignore the fact that Sommerville is in the USA… Next time I will have my breakfast at Starbucks
I had a terrible experience at this bakery today. I ordered a birthday cake, which was not cheap at all, and requested the text to say “Scorpio 11.11.” Instead, they wrote “Bicho Scorpio.” I pointed out the mistake, and the cashier was incredibly rude, yelling at me as if I was wrong to complain. It was really upsetting, especially on my birthday. They “fixed” the writing, but it looked sloppy and uneven. Despite this, I took the cake home, and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. I will never go back to this place and cannot recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful
Grabbed coffee at the self service station and put salt instead of sugar ?. Only realized it after paying and getting into the car. Came in to make another one with sugar instead, and they didn't charge me. Very nice people, helping my dum ass ???
(The coffee was great btw)
